Greater than one weekWe have some string lights on our screened in porch that we can now easily turn on and off using Alexa. Install was very easy from the TP Link app on my Android phone (called Kasa). Alexa found the device automatically. We manually turn the lights on and off using Alexa voice commands (ie. Alexa turn on porch lights) so Im not using the Kasa app to turn them on/off using a schedule. The lights respond almost instantly. I do have a two outlet outdoor TP Link plug (KP400 - highly recommended) that I am using to turn some other lights on at sunset and off at 10:30PM. The scheduling feature on the app works great. The only negative is it is fairly large and takes up two outlets on our 6 outlet wall plug. I knew that when I ordered so Im not dropping any stars. I would definitely buy this again.

Greater than one weekThe product works well but not for my needs. I wanted to use it to power up my stereo but theres no way to keep my unit from defaulting back to thinner after power goes off. It would be great with a lamp.

> 3 dayI have a few of the TP-Link products in my home, and this switch works the same as the bigger ones, but doesnt take up all of the space of the whole outlet. Works fine, was easy to install (like the others). Doesnt seem to loose connectivity very often (once in a while, but not enough to fuss about). They do integrate with Alexa, but we dont use Alexa anymore once we stopped using a firestick, and we dont have Alexa units around the house. I just use the mobile app, and it works fine.

> 3 dayHave no idea what these people who had trouble settling up are talking about. Took me 5 minutes to set up and integrate with Alexa. This is my third one and they work great and are very reliable.

Greater than one weekThese are great! On arrival, I take the time to initialize and label each plug and put them back in the box. I know they all work as intended and I don’t have to revisit the process every time I deploy one.

> 3 dayI am so happy with these plugs. If you download the Kasa app and follow the directions they are seamless and easy to initiate and use with Alexa. Yea for easy to connect and use. Earlier turned in a bad review for these plugs. And I apologize. It was because I was using the app for the plugs I was replacing, not noticing that these are Kasa’s. Kasa’s are super easy and reliable.

> 3 dayI am very happy with the Kasa Smart Plug. I bought it to replace my Wemo Mini which I have had for about 3 years. Ive had problems with the Wemo as I would have to manually reset the plug and reconnect it to my network, especially when my internet goes out and comes back. Ive been using the Kasa plug for about a week now and have had no problems with it. My internet has gone out several times and I even had to reset my router modem to factory defaults. After I put back in the same SSID and password that I used before, I didnt have to set back up my Kasa. It automatically reconnected. As you can see from the pictures, the Kasa plug is shorter than the Wemo. My Wemo plug overlapped the wallplate but the Kasa is about the same width as the wallplate. I like that the button is on the side as well. Setting it up was very easy. There are no instructions in the box but on the box (see pic). I simply downloaded the app and followed the prompts. The app did seem to get stuck when it was connecting the plug to my network so I had to close the app and open it back and then it connected quickly. I also love the app interface. It is clean and I love the way the graphics look. The only thing I would say that I didnt care for was the blue led light. Im a person that needs complete darkness to sleep so I had to use black electric tape to take off the side. I wish manufacturers of smart plugs would put in an option to turn off the led light from within the app. Overall I am very happy with the Kasa as it was half the price of my Wemo mini, reconnects after my internet drops, and has a much nicer app interface.

> 3 dayIt works for turning on a circuit but you also must manually turn it off. I wanted it to replace a timer and to turn on a oil filled heater in my bedroom and then turn off the heater after several hours ( 4 or so) but it is not capable of that. You must turn the heater on manually with the app and then turn it off manually with the app every time. I might as well turn it on and then turn it off when needed. I usually need to make a trip to the water closet in about 4 hours anyway! Ill find a use for it somewhere in the future.
