> 3 dayIve tried at least a half dozen brands of these type devices, including in-wall switches. Its time to standardize to make it easier to deal with so I chose TPLink. The app works great and the devices work quickly with the Alexa integration. Im giving away all the other brands Ive tried- one app, properly working stuff is all I want now. Its rare that one loses connection, but if they do- it seems they are back online quickly. Ive even decided to go with the whole TPLink ecosystem of cameras and in-wall dimmers. If youre unsure which brand to go with, Ive been into home automation since we used to have to write our own scripts for X10 protocol... theres not much out there I havent tried. TPLink is consumer grade and low priced, but it performs really well. In my case, Ive even used a spare older router just to connect to the 38 automation devices separately from the regular internet devices... Im really happy with the performance and prices.

> 3 dayThis smart plug was really good, i can control the light in my closet as well as my desk lamp by voice control via alexa. It’s so great not having to reach to the remote every time i want to turn on the lamp. Make sure you have a really good wifi connection so your alexa has no problem connecting, but other than that i definitely recommend!

> 3 dayI am so happy with these plugs. If you download the Kasa app and follow the directions they are seamless and easy to initiate and use with Alexa. Yea for easy to connect and use. Earlier turned in a bad review for these plugs. And I apologize. It was because I was using the app for the plugs I was replacing, not noticing that these are Kasa’s. Kasa’s are super easy and reliable.

Greater than one weekI have 5 of these now on multiple plugs. App is intuitive and integrates GREAT with Alexa. The schedule feature is great - providing the ability to schedule on/off times for all your devices.

> 3 dayThese cubes plugs have a slightly lower rating the the larger ones, so keep that in mind and look at your exact needs. These are perfect for lots of application. I use these to shut off a power strip with lots of vampire plugs on it. Has timer and schedules and a great I phone app that sees updates often. Id advise against buying no name plugs, as each brand needs a different and sometimes questionable application. Caught a firmware update on install, but as always reliable. Ive been using TP link for years to control bits in my home that can be difficult to reach ( I use one on a balky smart fridge so I dont have to go out to the breaker panel when it crashes) perfect with alexa, give it a try, you wont know how you lived without it. Solid out of network operation too on my iphone

> 3 dayI bought this for my husband who is currently unable to turn the light on and off in the living room due to medical conditions, but this was rather easy to install. I noticed it was packed in a mini box and did not immediately see the instructions as the print was too hard for me to read. But I kind of knew right away that I needed to download the Kasa app based on different reviews online that Ive read on this product, both on Amazon and off other sites. Had created my TP Link Kasa account and then verified myself and was able to connect to Wifi on the Xfinity white XFI Gateway model and then went back to the Alexa App to link the two together. I maybe spent about 8 to 9 minutes setting this up but once it was done, my husband can now use the Echo Dot to turn off the lights. Previously he was using the clapper, which proved to be an issue with mobility and clapping. This was a bargain for the price spent and I may buy a few more in the future once I can expand our technology.

> 3 dayI bought this for my espresso machine. I have no complaints. It is scheduled to come on and does just that. After a few hours it will auto shut off. The app works easily too. Will certainly buy more. I use with google

Greater than one weekWe have had some garage break-ins in our area and someone recommended I get one of these for my garage. Using the app on my phone lets me set the timer. Now I don’t have to worry about anyone using a garage door opener to get in. Great product.

Greater than one weekI got this for my daughters 5 gallon aquarium in order to turn on and off the light. It was really easy to set up through their app and so far (about 1 month later) works perfectly. I would definitely recommend it to all the people as you dont need to be an expert to set it up.
