I have used their bulbs so this Christmas I decided to give their receptacles a try. Best decision I made this year for decorations. I no longer have 4 different mechanical timers on all my Christmas lights that I could never get timed up the same. They would always be off by a few seconds - minutes. Then the kids or dogs would bump into them and either unplug them and the time would be off or touch the timer settings and now the lights would be all over the place. These are easy to set up and program. Being able to turn them on from the app anywhere is also nice. I have not used the Alexa integration yet.

One worked immediately. The other one gave me all sorts of problems (and I’ve installed a ton of Kasa products which are generally awesome). Decided to give the problem plug one more chance today, and it finally worked.

Feels like buying a disposable electronic device. Its impossible to reset when you move. Instructions say you have to rename the new wifi & password to the same as the old network. Still doesnt work. Otherwise, great device while it lasted. Easy to control through the app, love the sunrise-sunset setting, and no need for an alexa/siri hub.

I had some difficulty setting up the smart plugs. After several attempts I called customer support. The person that helped me, Hanson, was very knowledgeable and patient. We were able to resolve the issue and get my smart plugs working. I would suggest adding some clarity to the installation instructions to make it easier to set up.

I found the lights I want to control works great in warmer or even hot conditions. I have found that when we have a long spell of cold weather they will stop working. They stop responding to the app and will work again then we approach 38 degrees they will start working again. Over all they are a good product if the problem could be resolved I would be happy to pay an increased price for the set. I would recommend this switch to others.

I wanted a wifi-enabled coffee maker but all that I found were too large or too expensive. With this device I can start any el-cheapo coffee maker plugged into it, from bed whenever I am ready -- not just when the clock says so. Be sure to develop the habit of remembering to either switch off your coffee maker or filling it with coffee and water first though. There wont be any safeguards against bonehead moves like powering up an empty coffee maker.

The step in the instruction that is skipped is to turn the lamp on first. OK, maybe I should have known that....but..... They do work.

3 working units for a couple months now. No hardware issues, or problems connecting them to network and existing hub. Issue is the iOS apps user interface. Not intuitive and poor layout. Takes way too long to setup a schedule.

Easy to set up. You can either use them from the product app or through an Alexa. Really convenient!
