> 3 dayOne worked immediately. The other one gave me all sorts of problems (and I’ve installed a ton of Kasa products which are generally awesome). Decided to give the problem plug one more chance today, and it finally worked.

> 3 dayThese are great plugs but watch the wattage of the device you put on it. I had a heater that would kick on every morning at 7am and shut off at 4pm. A few days ago I smelled a burningplastic smell and looked around and found this was burning. The plug is rated for 1800W and the heater is 1500W. So not sure if it just overheated because of time turned on or just couldnt handle 1500W. Also the plug feels loose where the burn is, but not sure if that is due to the melted plastic, a broken solder joint or what. Either way I had another plug I am using and bumped heater down to 900W and we will see how this goes. I have 7 of these and have never had an issue with them. I hate not giving it 5 starts, but have to give 4 due do risk.

> 3 dayFeels like buying a disposable electronic device. Its impossible to reset when you move. Instructions say you have to rename the new wifi & password to the same as the old network. Still doesnt work. Otherwise, great device while it lasted. Easy to control through the app, love the sunrise-sunset setting, and no need for an alexa/siri hub.

> 3 dayI wanted a wifi-enabled coffee maker but all that I found were too large or too expensive. With this device I can start any el-cheapo coffee maker plugged into it, from bed whenever I am ready -- not just when the clock says so. Be sure to develop the habit of remembering to either switch off your coffee maker or filling it with coffee and water first though. There wont be any safeguards against bonehead moves like powering up an empty coffee maker.

> 3 dayI really like this wifi plug, because it makes any non smart appliance smart, the button on side is really cool because if you lose internet you still have a way to trun on your appliance without having to unplug it, the only Im complaining about is the wifi signal, it is very strong inside the house, but as soon as I go outside, the connection is very very slow bit sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Other than that I recommend this smart plug 98%

> 3 dayWas very easy to put on network. If they are reliable then they are definitely worth a five star rating.

> 3 dayAfter a couple tries, I got these HS103 smart plugs connected on the Kasa app (lose 1 star on install). Then I was able to connect each plug to my Google Home account. Now I (and my wife) have on/off buttons for each smart plug on our Google Home apps. Slight bummer is that automation (auto on/ off by time) has to be programmed from Kasa app, not google home. so lose 1 star for integration. Although Google Home integration could be better, overall, it meets my minimum requirements. Anyone w my Google Home can turn each outlet on / off independently.

> 3 dayIve been holding out on buying smartplugs due to their need to be on a 2.4Ghz network. I had no desire in segmenting my mesh network into 2 bands. I prefer to roam my property with my cellphone/laptop and let it correctly choose the band that is needed for optimal connectivity. Before purchasing, I noticed reviews stating that these plugs worked seamlessly with Orbi mesh products. I bought a 3 pack of these plugs and had all three connected and working within 15 minutes or less. Easy peasy! That is what I want in home automation. I would buy more of the TP/Kasa line of products based on this initial experience.

Greater than one weekI LOVE this brand!!! Ive given all the other kooky brands away to neighbors and bought all Kasa plugs and bulbs. I got one as a gift 6 years ago and love it. It still works, btw... Im a little behind the times and JUST started changing everything over to wifi. The first bulb I set up took about 5 minutes but everything after that was super quick. The Kasa app is super user friendly, which we appreciate because were old, and now our lives are so much easier. Crazy how something that once seemed so frivilous is now such a huge part of my everyday life. haha I no longer need to search for light switches or get out of bed because I forgot to turn off the wax burner or the spa lights. HIGHLY recommend Kasa!!! If I can set this stuff easily, ANYONE can do it!! Also, its fun to think of Alexa as my personal assistant. haha

> 3 dayThis is my third purchase and I am definitely fascinated, especially with a puppy at home if we are late the light is turned on directly from the app. We have located in the balcony, each beds side, dining room and kids room. The only problem is that my husband downloaded the app (hes more technological than me) but the Amazon/Alexa account is under my name (Im in charge of the purchases haha) and they dont work correctly, I tried to download the app to also have access and I couldnt because it kept downloading and how I configured the Alexas with my account my husband was left out and now they no longer work through it so we do it from the app. Apart from that are magnificent ..
