Greater than one weekI bought these to replace old smart plugs that were failing. These are smaller and take less space. After installing the Kasa app, these are an easy install. Something I havent found others to be. They work great.

> 3 dayI really love these plugs. I have plugged them into lamps that dont have smart bulbs and fans that dont have WiFi integration. I havent had the issue with these reconnecting to WiFi that I have read about others having. I have had the WiFi go out multiple times and every time it comes back on they automatically connect without issue. The only thing I think would make them better it to have a USB port on the side but that is just a small thing that doesnt make or break this product.

> 3 dayOutrageously easy to setup and use. Full disclosure: I dont have it it integrated with Alexa or any other smart ecosystem device - just controlling the individual plugs from the Kasa app. If more needed in the future, will absolutely buy again.

Greater than one weekI installed the first of these yesterday to turn my Christmas lights on and off on a timer. I have other alexa plugs and smart bulbs, so Im familiar with the process. - This is the first one Ive had to connect to the devices wifi to get set up to finish. - There was a message that confused me about my ios settings having to allow the app to search wifi networks, but I didnt actually need it in the end. - I still havent figured out how to connect it to Alexa to be able to voice command the lights on and off - after about 20 minutes yesterday I ran out of time. So, allow some time for set up - Im not saying alexa connection isnt possible, but between downloading the app, connecting to the wifi through the plug, etc.etc., there were too many steps that I had time for. I do like that I was able to set up a timer/schedule within the kasa app, so thats where I stopped for now.

Greater than one weekI used WeMo smartplugs originally and those would disconnect from the network once in awhile and it was a pain to get them reconnected. Got tired of that happening so I bought some of these Kasa smartplugs hoping to get away from the WeMo ones. Success! No more disconnecting and these Kasa work better and faster than the WeMo. The app also boots up much quicker to where my plugs are quickly available. Id rate the WeMo at a 6 out of 10 These Kasa I would rate at a 10 out of 10. Ive been using the Kasa for awhile...since March of this year...and have yet to have any kind of problem with them. If I do Ill edit this review

22-11-2024I bought two of these recently. They integrate nicely with the Kasa camera system. When the camera detects someone the switches will turn the lights on.the app that is used to control the system is great, allowing easy integration of the devices into an easy to use security system.

> 3 dayThese work perfectly; they are just a little bulky. They connect easily and stay connected. They work with the Kasa App on your phone like a remote control, and with Alexa so they are very convenient, plus they have an on/off button on the side. I have several and am very happy with them. Just think about where you want to plug it.
