> 3 dayBest solder ever. Really no need to buy anything else. Been soldering mostly vintage electronics and guitars. Have used various brands, from Chinese well-reviewed soldertin to suggestions from local electronics store, but nothing came even close to this quality. Always a perfect shiny joint and dries immediately without plastic phase, so well worth the extra cost over the 60/40 version

> 3 dayGreat solder.I dont buy anything but 63/37 solder because of its melting temp and plastic range is only 1 degree instead of 14 degrees like 60/40. I have bought only this solder since it came out in the late 70s for our two way radio shop. If you solder you need this!

17-11-2024This is just a great, smooth product to use. If youre just getting started with diy electronics repairs- trust the reviews; leaded solder is easier and better.

> 3 dayTheres not a whole lot I can say about solder. This is the good old 63/37 tin/lead stuff so dont eat it and be sure to wash your hands after handling. Unlike the lead-free stuff it results in nice clean shiny joints every time and the flux cleans off nicely with flux remover without leaving a sticky mess everywhere.

Greater than one weekReally nice soldier to work with! Work as a Communications Equipment Repair Tech and bought this because the companys stuff wasnt as good. Flows well, enough flux to cut through corrosion, doesnt cold weld. Makes soldering easy

> 3 dayIve always had a hard time soldering. I have tried many varieties of solder and flux as well as different irons/guns. I just figured thats how it was. I just used this Kester 63/37 today along with some new Rubyfluid soldering paste and wow, night and day difference. Just finished repairing several broken wires in a automotive wiring harness and I actually enjoyed the soldering work this time. This solder melts quick and flows nice. Its expensive but worth every penny.
