While debating whether to purchase this or the Meta brand version, I only got this one because of the deal it was having for sale, plus this product looked comfier than Metas version. When I wore this for the first time, I immediately noticed a major difference in weight distribution to it, I no longer felt a brick pulling down on my face, but it was now being balanced on my forehead and the back of my head. Assembling it was easy, It was a bit tricky putting the middle strap through the latch that is on the top inner part of the VR set itself, but I managed to get it on, I havent used the battery pack yet because I mainly play with my VR cord connected to my pc so I hardly play my VR set not connected. I would recommend getting this most definitely if you dont already have a head strap, I have seen other major designs for head straps that are also great for wearing, weight distribution, and battery life, but I felt like this was my best first.

This Headstrap works great and makes the Quest 2 feel better and allows you to wear it longer with more comfort. The battery will last longer than you will. It charges with a standard USB C connection while also charging you Quest 2 battery at the same time. It also keeps the weight of the Quest 2 off of your nose and face with the adjustable top and back controls.

I’ve had like 4 different straps in a year and a half. This is by far the best and I think I’ll stick with this one. I do a lot of the exercise games and boxing and it does not budge! Very comfortable and fits well. Would highly recommend for those using it for exercise or games using a lot of movement

Unit is nicely finished, balance is all good. The battery is not supplying any power at all. Its fully charged, but no voltage at the USB charging plug. The plug also fits so loosely in the quest 2 that it falls out easily. I tried charging other devices like phones with same result. Any of my other USB C chargers work fine on the quest 2 and their plugs fit the quest snugly, so I am confident that the battery headset is the issue. Will return for an exchange and update review later. Update February 6: Received replacement unit over the weekend. Works properly and Im enjoying using it with no more issues on the charging end. USB plug fits normality (wont come loose during use). Revised rating to well earned 5 stars).

Im not sure on the battery yet haven’t got to fully see how long it adds but anything will be an upgrade to the 1.5-2 hours without it what I can say is comfort wise no comparison yes it adds alot of bulk to the head set but once you put it on it doesn’t feel heavy and is more balanced doesn’t dig into my forehead anymore extremely happy be sure you get a large case though and right now I can’t find the kiwi brand case made to match this strap

The headset is a great improvement to the quest 2 original. The incorporation of the headphones is great. Sound is good enough and better than original. The pads are soft and comfortable. Only problem now is I need a case for this headset to fit into. So Kiwi get on this. I need a hard carrying case. The extended battery pack makes your experience last longer. The headset is heavy, but its balanced with the soft cushions on the head strap its not noticeable.

I was debating buying this for my new oculus but I am SO happy I did. Without it, the device became uncomfortable and hurt my head within minutes of using it. With this headset I can barely feel that its on my face. The weight distribution is phenomenal. In terms of the battery, I was very disappointed in the battery life of the device itself. It had to be plugged in multiple times a day to be able to use it. With the battery I dont have to worry about the device dying. If you just got an Oculus or have had one and are debating buying this, you 100% should. I promise you you will not be disappointed.

I really like this headset, it is comfortable and very adjustable. The battery helps balance the Quest and doubles play time. I did have an issue that turned out to be my fault. I had to exchange the first one I got for a replacement but when the second one arrived I was having the same problem. I also bought a charging stand for the headset and the controllers. This stand came with a USB C magnetic connector and a USB A to magnetic adaptor for easy connection and disconnection from the charger. I plugged it into the Kiwis battery while it was on the charging stand. The problem was that when I disconnected the charged cable from the Kiwis battery and left the magnetic adaptor in the USB C slot the Kiwis battery wouldnt send power to the headset. Once I figured out the problem and removed the charge adaptor from the battery everything works fine. Just an FYI for anyone who has this same setup.

The plug barely fits in the port, I had to push it in pretty hard for it to start charging, left it charging the quest for 2 hours and gained 7%. Sweet. A whole 5 minutes of extra battery life. Dont bother. Edit: Their support contacted me and told me that you have to press the connector into the port harder than most usb-c connectors, and, yeah, no kidding, even if you know it should be harder than most others, youre still gonna want to push it in harder than you think. It does work though, and its charging faster than it was before. Lost a star for just how hard you have to push it in, but besides that, great headstrap. For others, you gotta push until theres a click and the connector is flush with the headset.
