Way better than the original or even elite strap. The battery does a great job counterbalanced the unit without adding too much weight. Straps are super comfortable even after hours of playing.

I’m still giving this all 5 stars, because it’s unlike nothing vr the quest 2, more battery life and more comfort then anything. The only reason it’s not completely perfect is because the headphones sound a little fuzzy but it’s worth every penny, because it’s not like your buying some premium headphones, but still very good. The only actual thing they could’ve done for the money is the audio wire is very messy. They are both connected so you have to go all the way over the headset and it looks weird. Other then that this strap is absolutely perfect and an amazing choice and would recommend this over anything else.

I Love how comfortable and adjustable it feels and pretty easy to put on the headset. As for the battery part I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong in my part but the quest 2 battery alone last for about 2 hours. With the Kiwi battery I was hoping for at least 5 hours of play time but I’m only getting maybe 3 or 2 and half hours instead. Not much of an improvement in that part. The headset dies before the extra battery even drains. It seems like the extra battery does not keep up with the headset. Not worth it if your looking for extra time on the quest without a link cable.

Like: Very comfortable. Using the knob to tighten or loosen the straps is nicer than the stock head strap design. I am able to get a much better fit to my face as well. Dislike: Even though the strap battery is fully charged and the screen tells me the Oculus is charging, I receive a warning that the battery is low and to plug the device in asap. If I dont plug it in the Oculus powers down and I lose my game (and game progress). I didnt seem to have the problem for the first few weeks. I have checked that the strap battery is firmly plugged in yet it happens anyway. REVISION: The unit works as advertised. I _thought_ the strap battery was firmly plugged in, as I had pushed quite hard on it and the Oculus screen was showing that charging was happening. Images provided while corresponding with the maker revealed that I possibly needed to push the plug in deeper. So I gave it a shot. No change. Then I gave it another shot. . . pushed _really_ hard on the plug and it did go deeper and I now have full charging. 5 stars . . . or maybe 4 because you have to push so hard on the plug lol.

The headset itself is amazingly comfortable, and the weight distribution is fabulous. I had to order another one because the first one I had had a defective charging cable. Luckily, Amazon has same-day deliveries so it didn’t feel obnoxious. I’ve tried halo headsets and they give a weird pressure and feel very loose when you’re trying to look around. But this has such a thick padding, and it gets a snug as you want it to with the Turndale fastener. I very much recommend this to anyone if you have the budget!

Works great, instant upgrade to original strap. Quick and easy to adjust. I feel there is a huge over site to the battery though. EVERY docking station you purchase has a MAGNETIC CONNECTION (even kiwi’s own changing dock is magnetic) yet their headset battery HEADSET BATTERY DOES NOT SUPPORT THE MAGNETIC CONNECTOR SYSTEM. It’s super annoying and a bit frustrating to try and pull the magnetic connection on the headset to plug in the battery on the strap. It’s a bigger annoyance than it sounds trust me. Please fix this Kiwi or give other options.

We bought this hoping for a more comfortable and more secure head strap. We also thought the extra battery capacity would be a nice addition since the grandkids all want to use it and battery life is an issue in longer sessions. The Kiwi is much more comfortable and holds the headset securely without pressure points. We are very satisfied with the design and fit. The built-in battery doesn’t seem do give the advertised extra time. This may be the operator but the Oculus depleted its battery and shut down even though the Kiwi battery lights indicated there was about 50% of life left in the Kiwi battery. Also it seems we need to charge the oculus battery and the Kiwi battery separately. We were hoping both would be charged by leaving the booster battery connected to the headset and connecting the charger to the Kiwi headset. Overall it is a good upgrade to the original head strap. Edit: both batteries now charge through the Kiwi charging port. I think it was operator error.

Excellent balance. Plenty of battery back up. Best add on to the headset yet.

Was using a separate headset and a strapped on battery-- it worked but was pretty klunky to get on and off. The Kiwi combo strap is an elegant solution to the problem. When I ordered the unit, I thought perhaps the headphones were hard plastic. No, the part that touches the ear is soft and cushiony! Highly recommended!
