Greater than one weekI was really on the fence about spending this kind of money for this product but I am so glad I did. I didnt realize just how uncomfortable the stock head strap was until I was using this for a few hours. Not only does this make my Oculus so much more comfortable but the extended battery life this provides is awesome as I no longer have to run for a plug after a long gaming session. The headphones built into this feel great and the sound quality is good. They feel very comfortable to my ears and I like how they are built right in. Now to the cons, all this padding feel fantastic but if your moving around a lot you will notice how the areas of your skin that are in contact with it are sweating more than the areas that are not. Now the old straps just soaked up the sweat (gross I know but true) where as these dont so you will notice some moister if youre really moving. However the comfort you get from the padding greatly outweighs this negative but for some people who run really hot this might be bothersome but for me it was not but was something I noticed when I take off the headset. Overall this product is worth the price paid, the quality is there, the ease of use is there and what you get in terms of comfort, battery life, and audio make it worth the price of admission.

> 3 dayA necessity for playing longer and being more comfortable. This strap finally made the Quest 2 comfortable for me. It takes a little bit to find the sweet spot but once you do you barely notice the strap on your head. It feels natural and loose while keep the headset in place at all times. The charging pack is the icing on the cake. You can get 4hr maybe 4:30hr if you take care of it. Plug it in when the quest gets to about 25-30% and you’ll be good.

> 3 dayThis is a nice addition to the Oculus, it makes it so that the charge never goes below 100%, if you are using it for less than an hour. We never have to worry about not having enough of a charge.

> 3 dayI know a lot of people buy this product for the extended battery life however, I purchased it to see if it would even out the weight distribution and it did. I purchased two other fancy straps, and neither of them helped. I wish I had a purchase this head strap from the beginning and would’ve save myself money and the pain that goes along with having the oculus push on your face for an hour or two.

> 3 dayWorks great, instant upgrade to original strap. Quick and easy to adjust. I feel there is a huge over site to the battery though. EVERY docking station you purchase has a MAGNETIC CONNECTION (even kiwi’s own changing dock is magnetic) yet their headset battery HEADSET BATTERY DOES NOT SUPPORT THE MAGNETIC CONNECTOR SYSTEM. It’s super annoying and a bit frustrating to try and pull the magnetic connection on the headset to plug in the battery on the strap. It’s a bigger annoyance than it sounds trust me. Please fix this Kiwi or give other options.

> 3 dayI bought this for the added battery life, but it makes the headset so much more comfortable to wear. The battery acts as a counter-balance that takes the weight off of your cheekbones. It is also so much easier to switch between users by just using the dial and dealing with the one strap. Would recommend to anyone who owns a Quest.

> 3 dayWe bought this hoping for a more comfortable and more secure head strap. We also thought the extra battery capacity would be a nice addition since the grandkids all want to use it and battery life is an issue in longer sessions. The Kiwi is much more comfortable and holds the headset securely without pressure points. We are very satisfied with the design and fit. The built-in battery doesn’t seem do give the advertised extra time. This may be the operator but the Oculus depleted its battery and shut down even though the Kiwi battery lights indicated there was about 50% of life left in the Kiwi battery. Also it seems we need to charge the oculus battery and the Kiwi battery separately. We were hoping both would be charged by leaving the booster battery connected to the headset and connecting the charger to the Kiwi headset. Overall it is a good upgrade to the original head strap. Edit: both batteries now charge through the Kiwi charging port. I think it was operator error.

> 3 dayI previously owned the basic KIWI design comfort strap (no battery or headphones) and loved it. Much more comfortable that the stock strap and very easy to use. I saw that they came out with this one that had an integrated battery and headphones and bought it thinking it was a no-brainer upgrade. Trying the head strap on for the first time, impressions were good. The strap was just as comfortable as the basic one, if not more so because of the better weight distribution thanks to the integrated battery. The headphones took a little getting used to since they have quite a bit of adjustment with makes them a bit fiddly, but once I got them in the right spot they feel pretty good and isolated surprisingly well. The main downside to the headphones is that they increase the overall size of the headset substantially and cant be removed so pretty much no case on the market will fit it. I heard that KIWI design may be coming out with a larger case to accommodate it though. The battery and headphone cables are nicely thought out and had no problem plugging into the ports. I saw some other people complaining that the USB-C cable was vey hard to plug in, but I didnt experience that with mine. Maybe a little more force than normal, but nothing to be concerned about. Using the head strap for an actual gaming session is when I realized I didnt like the headphones. Compared to the Quests built in speakers, the headphones sounded a bit tinny. They lacked the fullness and wide soundstage the built in ones could provide. I also began to have ear pain after only about 10 minutes of use. For me, I couldnt quite get the headphones to be parallel with my ears so they would end up putting excessive pressure on the back of my ears. I feel like this wouldnt have been a problem if the headphones werent spring loaded and instead allowed you to simply adjust the distance from your ears. Ive had similar experiences with standard on-ear headphones before so it may just be that I have overly sensitive ears so take that with a grain of salt. I ended up using the headset with the headphones unplugged and flipped up and out of the way and I enjoyed the experience much more. Overall, I think its a great head strap and the headphones may not be an issue for some, but for me they were a deal breaker unfortunately. If they had better sound quality and didnt apply so much pressure I wouldve kept it. Ill be returning it and purchasing the head strap with just the battery.

> 3 dayI really like this headset, it is comfortable and very adjustable. The battery helps balance the Quest and doubles play time. I did have an issue that turned out to be my fault. I had to exchange the first one I got for a replacement but when the second one arrived I was having the same problem. I also bought a charging stand for the headset and the controllers. This stand came with a USB C magnetic connector and a USB A to magnetic adaptor for easy connection and disconnection from the charger. I plugged it into the Kiwis battery while it was on the charging stand. The problem was that when I disconnected the charged cable from the Kiwis battery and left the magnetic adaptor in the USB C slot the Kiwis battery wouldnt send power to the headset. Once I figured out the problem and removed the charge adaptor from the battery everything works fine. Just an FYI for anyone who has this same setup.
