> 3 dayThe UI isnt particularly intuitive, but overall its simple enough that you can memorise its quirks. It seems to work quite reliably and was instrumental in pinning down a faulty crimper as the source of my woes.

> 3 dayI also bought mine at Home Depot on the same day I recieved a cheaper network cable tester and this has and will help me alot. Im installing cat6 cables in every room(below the house and in the attic and I also have a hard time to tell the difference between colors on the cable and my first attempt, before getting this I had two twisted pairs mixed up, using this made it easy work to fix my mistake.

> 3 dayI have had two Klein Cat testers. Both developed issues with the remote. The contacts wear in the remote and you start getting false open readings in 12 or 78. Klein does not repair OR does not even sell replacement remotes, I was told I had to buy a whole new tester. Buying a second one, shame on me. The remote went bad AGAIN. I bought a Fluke this time.

> 3 dayThis is the best tester I used so far. I know the are other testers that are probably better than this but those testers are at least $2k - $10k or something. This tester is something I could afford. Its easier for me to use, comfortable & useful. I recommend this tester for IT guys who want to test and trace cables.

> 3 dayThis tool has so many features to test cable runs which is mostly what I use it for. For the money it’s well worth it. You can save time and money by verifying whether that run is good or not

> 3 dayIts a good tool to have if you regularly work with networking equipment. I do IP camera installs and I like to use this tool because it gives me an accurate reading on my cable runs. The only dislike is that you have to manually start each cable test by pressing the appropriate button. Other more expensive models will run the test as soon as the cable is connected. This is super minor in my opinion. Once you realize it, youll just get in the habit of starting the test manually. Like I said in the headline, its a whole lot cheaper than the Fluke Microscanner model which is around $600.
