Klock Werks Flare for 2014-2023 FLH (8.5 Dark Smoke)

I read some of the reviews and fully agree with the comments about the reduced wind noise. Also gave it only a 4 rating because of the price. Not cheap, but excellent quality. Im 6 and tested 3 different sizes. The 6.5 is plenty tall to reduce most of the wind and I can still see over the top. I tried the black version but did not like not being able to see close in front of me while riding. Not a big deal when out on the road but when turning or in small areas I found it difficult. Note that when installing the new windshield loosen all the screws and then reach inside along the bottom and gently push against the old windshield. This will help in clear the raised tabs inside the fairing and the windshield will lift right out. Buy it and enjoy it.

The wind still hit me on top of my head the same way of my factory windshield did. Try a size over, I think 11.5 and it was to tall.

On FLHXST - my bike came with a 3 shorty windshield blade that I had issues with how the air flow would buffet my face while riding. The 8.5 Klockwerks moves the air up around around your head with little to no buffeting at all without sacrificing view over the top. IF you like the shorter windshield look this is a good compromise.

Purchased 6.5 which measures 8 inches when installed. Stock was 10 inches. 6 feet 1 inch perfect height. Looks much better than stock.

It is very well made and well worth the price. Makes my Trike look extra good. The wind is channelled away from my face when I ride, so much better than the windshield that came with my bike.

I was in an accident with the 10.5 Tinted windshield that I had on a 2019 Electra Glide Standard. It with stood the accident which absolutely demolished the bike but the windshield may have played a large part in saving my life as I had a severe impact but it’s believed the windshield helped to slow down the force i received. It does an absolute stupendous job with wind deflection and I couldn’t be happier to have had it on that bike. I am ordering another one, more than likely 6.5 as the 10.5 is much larger on my 2020 Street Glide due to the seat. This is a wonderful company and they really do great work. I highly recommend them!!! I also add that the day before the accident I was stuck in storms for 4.5 hours and as long as I was moving the rain would fly over my face and kept my glasses dry.

After having done some measurements and then looking at the Klock Werks options, I went with the 8.5” windshield and it was perfect!! Easy to install (10 min), fit well and shoots the wind over the top of my head. This not a windshield you want to look through, the curves in the plastic designed to direct the wind make it hard to see through.

This was very hard to install and prevent from scratching. Instructions want you to start outside screws first then center. Center screw was impossible so I set the center screw first then outside screws. Once on the wind is thrown up a few more inches so the buffeting around my ears is dramatically reduced...80% for me. Im 510 and the factory windshield put air in my face. I can hear the stereo now without cranking it up all the way. Beside installation, the only other issue I have is that the material is more flexible than factory so it shakes when at idle. Im getting used to the funky shape but I would consider this again.
