Klock Werks Flare for 2014-2023 FLH (8.5 Dark Smoke)

I bought the 6.5”. It is a bit pricey but pushes the wind and bugs up and over. I can hear my music better. It’s a solid product. I love it so far.

Don’t try to look through the windscreen or vertigo will ensue, put the new 8in klockworks windscreen on and took out for a ride, immediately I knew I was gonna have a problem due to distorted views, the lines on the road were all twisted vertigo and looking at cars in front of you they appear disproportionate. At this time I picked my head over the windshield it was met with the same chop as a normal chopped windshield plus the vertigo view of the road, 20 plus years of riding and this is the first product I truly despise. Buyer beware, I returned it after 1 ride.

The wind still hit me on top of my head the same way of my factory windshield did. Try a size over, I think 11.5 and it was to tall.

This was very hard to install and prevent from scratching. Instructions want you to start outside screws first then center. Center screw was impossible so I set the center screw first then outside screws. Once on the wind is thrown up a few more inches so the buffeting around my ears is dramatically reduced...80% for me. Im 510 and the factory windshield put air in my face. I can hear the stereo now without cranking it up all the way. Beside installation, the only other issue I have is that the material is more flexible than factory so it shakes when at idle. Im getting used to the funky shape but I would consider this again.

6.5 looks great good for a street glide, not alot of wind deflection. went with 8.5 which worked PERFECTLY!!!! 8.5 is the way to go. absolutely love it.

Very sharp looking windshield, provides adequate protection. If your going to do a lot of long highway runs I would get a taller windshield. My wife/ passenger catches more wind and does not care for the lack of protection from the wind. So, if you have a passenger that does not like the wind get a taller windshield. Also, very difficult to see through so make sure you can see over it. No problem with this model. I’m 6’ and it’s perfect.

Maybe I received the wrong product or Im too short but this product just doesnt work for me. I used the current reviews as a reference. I wish I hadnt purchased this expensive product.
