> 3 dayI purchased the tinted 11.5” because I m 6’3” and wanted more protection and less wind buffeting however the distortion due to the curvature of the windshield made it impossible for me to look through the windshield. You can obviously see through it but not good enough to ride safely. It seemed like a well made product but I couldn’t use it. I returned it with no issues.

> 3 dayWell I cant say enough, it is what they say it is. It definitely help handling in bad air, cut the handle bar shake approaching vehicles from behind in half. When you get in that dirty air its not nearly as bad with the stock wind sheild. Its lower than stock and I see better at night. Less head shake and no. Complaints from passenger either. The neg is with it being lower its not as good in the rain as the stock shells only because I had more to hide behind.

> 3 dayI was non-the-wiser when it came to windshields. I was getting a lot of buffering with the stock HD windshield and ended up researching different ones. I ordered the 6.5 Klock Werks FLARE windshield and immediately loved it. The buffering has significantly decreased 95% and I can hear my music in the highways now! The ride is now so much more enjoyable and I cant believe I didnt make this purchase in day 1 of owning my 21 HD-SG special. I cannot explain how much more I love riding now that the buffering has stopped, I can hear my music and my neck muscles arent sore from fighting the wind.... oh, and I cant wear my hat without worrying about the w8nd taking it away. Im 62 and I think the 6.5 works for me. I have poor posture so I can get away with it. I may upgrade to a size up if I ever get a passenger... but for now content. Dont wait.....buy it already!

Greater than one weekLove it! Didnt like the little puffy decal in the middle. I rode it for 3 weeks before I got the courage to see if it would come off without leaving a mark. It came off easily. Again, great windshield !

Greater than one weekKlock Werks is still the #1 replacement windshield and it is quality but they better remember that there are up and coming brands that offer good quality and lower prices.
The Flip
The flip at the top of the Flare redirects air back as clean, less turbulent air for rider and passenger. Don"t just block or push the air, use the air for you, redirecting the wind to improve your ride.
The Hips
The Flare Windshield features "hips" at the sides that re-routes the wind away from you while adding downforce to the front-end of the motorcycle to improve stability vs. riding with the stock windshield.

A Few Notes!
One size doesn"t fit all! Klock Werks developed a variety of heights for many models so riders find a fit that works for them! In most cases, Klock Werks recommends you choose a Flare size that you can look over comfortably. The "Black" color versions are opaque and cannot be seen through. This color option may not be suitable for shorter riders. Windshield bags will work with our Flare. Traditional three-pouch windshield bags work with the 6.5", 8.5," 10.5", and 11.5" Flare windshields.
