Koss Porta Pro On Ear Headphones with Case, Black / Silver

So I just got these bad boys, they are very nice, came with a little travel pouch and everything. Seriously though the sound quality, for the price, for the ease of taking them with you, its a great deal. Im doing some traveling this upcoming week so Ill see how it all works in practice, but so far I am very happy with my purchase.

I recently purchased these headphones because my old ones snapped in my backpack (the plastic part) and I was looking for a decent pair of phones that were affordable, durable, and had a nice sound to them. I have never heard of Koss or Portapros before I saw the review on Cnet, but since the reviews were good, I thought Id try them out. At first, I was not impressed by the design of the phones, but when I got them, they were actually pretty cool. And I also liked the retro look, which stands out in a sea of college kids who also wear headphones 24/7.

I have a number of headphones for my ipod ranging from JBL, Sennheiser, JVC, and Apple. Let me tell you, these Koss are very good. My taste in music is varied, ranging from classical meditation to rocknroll. Whilst I dont subscribe to be a pure audiophile, the clarity of these headphones is impressive in relation to the price. They are not expensive and sound great. I can hear the higher frequencies very clearly, and the bass delivers an earthy grounding. They are powerful without distortion (unless you want to be deaf) and very comfortable to wear. If you want a set of phones for around $50, give some consideration to these.

These headphones work very well and I like the added cushion that sets against the temple area. The sound on these are good and the size adjustability is nice. These fold up and are compact in the bag that comes with them. I recommend these.

For the money, pretty amazing. Lightweight, portable, comfortable, and good sound. The look is kind of love it/hate it. Personally, I am a fan. My one complaint is that there is some amount of noise leakage to the external environment. Certainly not enough to regret the purchase, but enough to dock it a star.

I enjoy the sound and the light weight. It also eliminates the much of the outside noise. Great product and great value.

Unparalleled sound quality for the price, however leaks sound a LOT, not for use in quiet areas. Also, dont use with anything with a high powered amplifier; the lower range of sound was destroyed by attempting to use these with my digital piano, however this is my fault. Overall would absolutely recommend if you dont mind the sound leak as to get this level of sound quality anywhere else you will spend 5x the price.

Amazing sound for the price. Fold compact and is light weight.
