Koss Porta Pro On Ear Headphones with Case, Black / Silver

Im a composer and have been using these since probably the 70s. They used ot make a version for Radio Shack that also had great sounds but could be had on a sale for about $20. Cant find those anymore. A yound RadioShack salesperson recommend a Skullcandy model. After debating him, I actually went home and got my PortaPros and brought them back so he could hear the difference. I won that debate. The bass is extraordinary. These are very portable too. I have four sets for my digial piano, recording equipment and sereo receiver. Everybody who listens to them, loves them. And thats why they havent changed over the years.

I have had Koss headphones in the past, Pro 4AA and QZ-99. The Koss Portapro is portable AND has great bass response. The work great with my Android phone and can be rolled up to be carried in my motorcycle jacket or computer bag without getting crunched. They are very light and do not feel heavy or bear down on your ears even after listening to music with them on all day. The sound is night and day better than any ear-bud could be and are almost as good as the Pro 4AA. They are open air headphones so you cannot match the bass to the sealed types, but it comes close. For $32, you cannot go wrong.

Bought these just because I saw several videos talking about how good they were. They went on sale for $29 so I pulled the trigger. Those reviewers arent joking, these are very solid headphones. Theyre comfortable enough, they fold up small, and they pack a ridiculous punch for looking like crappy cheapo 90s headphones. I was pleasantly surprised and wouldnt hesitate to buy them again. I waiting for a different Koss model to come in to compare them to and depending on which are better, Ill probably buy a set for family members.

Da ich zu den Menschen gehöre, denen Ohrstöpsel häufig aus dem Gehörgang fallen und mich das sehr nervte, entschloss ich mich nach kurzer Zeit und auf diverse Empfehlungen, nicht zuletzt bei Amazon, hin, einen Koss Porta Pro zu kaufen. Da ich ihn schon mal live gesehen und getestet hatte, wusste ich, was ich da erwarten kann. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Der Porta Pro hat einen wirklich satten Sound ohne auch nur ansatzweise in den Bässen zu scheppern oder in den Höhen auszubrechen. Auch klassische Musik und Jazz meistert er, wie ein Großer. Ein absolut sauberer Klang aus einem federleichten Kopfhörer, der sogar noch eine Einstellmöglichkeit für den Tragekomfort liefert. Er lässt sich sehr klein zusammenklappen und passt in diesem Zustand komplett in eine Hand und damit bequem in das mitgelieferte Täschchen.

As I am a bit on the deaf side, I lose out on some of the music I listen to, especially the bass. Before buying these headphones, I used to borrow my sons cheap phones and didnt experience a marked improvement in sound quality. However, after reading a few reviews that raved about the quality of the bass, I decided to splash out and buy these. The result - the extra emphasis on bass allows me to hear sounds that Ive not heard before. They have totally transformed my small library of classical music tracks! The difference for a person of normal hearing abilities must be phenomenal. If I was to have a little moan, I would say the headband has an annoying habit of shrinking down to its easy-pack size. Probably fine for someone who wants to take these out and about, but I only use mine at home. However, a bit of duct tape soon sorted out my headband. Therefore, I stand by the well-deserved 5 stars I have given this product.

Ich habe lange gesucht gesucht um einen passenden Kopfhörer für mein iPhone / iPod zu finden. Etliche InEar und Bügelmodelle habe ich ausprobiert, aber nie das wirklich richtige gefunden. Und ehrlich gesagt habe ich auch bei dem Koss Porta nicht wirklich damit gerechnet den Kopfhörer für mich zu finden. Ich habe ihn eher bestellt nach dem Motto ... für den Preis kann man ihn ja mal probieren.
