Greater than one weekI found myself needing an extra screen for my laptop. I am spoiled at home with multiple monitors but when I travel working from just the laptops one screen was just not cutting it. I ordered this monitor based on reviews, specifications, and a solid price point of $150. I ordered a black one to match my laptop set up and two days later my product was on my doorstep. (gotta love Prime shipping) I open the package and find it is a light grey one! I figure it was just a simple mistake and process a return/replace with the same item, noting that I had received a grey one and not the black item I had ordered. I rarely have problems ordering from Amazon but hey, it happens, no big deal. processing return went smooth and easy, and two days later my item is on my doorstep. I open the package and find A GREY ONE! At this point I search the box and nowhere can I find an indication of color on the outside of the box other than the picture on the front that is in fact, a black one! I call Amazon customer support and after about 10 minutes I am told that since the item is sold by a third-party seller Amazon is only authorized to process a replacement one time. I was offered to return the item for a full refund and once that process was completed I could place a separate order for the third attempt at a black one. I decided to just live with a grey one as that process was just not worth going through to end up with a third grey one... I plugged it in and it works great! The picture quality is very nice, it is 1080p so I didnt expect a 4k resolution wow factor, but it was impressive! nice color and brightness. appears to be well made and has a quality feel to the case and the monitor. Power and data over one USB-C cable make for a clean and easy addition to my traveling workstation, with my black laptop... and a very LIGHT GREY monitor :/ I would recommend this product, if you dont mind the color grey.

> 3 dayUpdate 7/21/22: Still 5 stars. Working perfectly and durable. Carry it around in my pack with 2 PCs (work and personal). Packaging this comes in is so nice and durable that I hated to throw it out - but did, yesterday. The box almost seemed like I should use it for something but resisting my hoarding temptations, got rid of it. Someone mentioned it in a review as being fragile. I do not get that feeling but I suppose if you damaged it, then you might think that. But they still gave it 5-stars, anyway. The tech still seems like magic that video and power can both go in that usb-c cable (if you have a video capable USB-C port which you likely do not, if not having a newer and better computer but still great with the provided HDMI mini connector). ------ I took this out of the box and plugged it into my work PC with the USB-C to USB-C connector that came with the monitor. It came right to life perfectly. Thats it - connected with one cable and it was on. The settings to extend the monitor, duplicate the screen, etc. worked exactly like any second monitor and was super simple (these are settings on your computer - not the monitor). There is sound from a built in speaker which might work if you need sound in a pinch but ANY computer or phone speakers will be much better (my phone speakers blow this monitors speakers away). With my older but still pretty modern Acer notebook the USB-C is not apparently the newest and will only provide power and will not feed the video like my newer Dell work notebook. It still works well, however, by using the USB-C for power and the provided HDMI to mini-HDMI connector. So it just needed 2 cables instead of 1 and it worked perfectly (have it on right this second). It is amazing (to me, anyway) how well this works with just power from the USB-C cable. The quality of the display seems comparable to my desktop external monitor or any screen on a notebook computer. The cover/stand took me a minute to figure out but it is very simple. Just took a minute to see how they meant for it to work but then, super simple. I hope the screen is durable as I plan to carry it around in my backpack with my 2 PCs when I work outside the house.

> 3 dayLike most of you reading the reviews, I know the price might make you concerned that it is not a quality screen, so I set my expectations to be average. But in person, it is a very nice screen. Not top of the line. No dead pixels. Minor bleed in a dark room around the edges, but not enough to bother me. Color is vibrant, , black is dark with no washout, Crisp text, runs a solid 1080P, and very bright. Includes cables. Cons; HDR is a mess and cant be used for me. Case is a little flimsy but is okay because it was free, no VESA mount on the back. Well worth the money and I am glad I bought it. Time will tell on the durability, but if it makes it a year with everyday use, I will be happy.

> 3 dayHappy with purchase. Ordered and received same day. Did not include the stand, however, if you email KYY directly requesting the stand (so that it can be mounted landscape vs portrait), they will send it out free of charge. Customer service is quick to respond and received the stand in a day or two via FedEx Ground. The stand could be slightly taller to accommodate cabling a bit better or possibly an adjustable height stand. Not a deal breaker though. Good color and refresh times. All cabling included to setup with virtually any configuration. Especially like the USB C Thunderbolt setup as it is less cabling.

> 3 dayI’ve purchased and used a number or portable monitors. I primarily use mine for business. This monitor is a good choice and an excellent value. First impressions were based on the packaging. Very well package with every component sealed. The box includes everything needed to get connected and running. My laptop has a fully functional UCB-C. When connected, the PC recognized the monitor and the monitor display immediately came up. No external power was needed. If using the mini HDMI connection, you will need to connect the included power source to one of the two USB-C ports on the monitor. The monitor has a very nice and slim profile. The screen displayed pictures and text very well. The colors were good however, they appear muted when compared to a higher end 4K OLED screen. The screen is bright enough to work efficiently in a lit room and the screen appears to brighten further when the power supply is used as opposed to only using the USB-C power from the PC. The onboard speakers are functional but as is the case with any of these portable monitors, you will find them lacking as the primary sound media output. The included magnetic cover functions as a stand with two viewing positions and does a good job protecting the screen when stored. In addition to my PC, i was able to connect an android device with no issue. An iPhone requires a special adapter however, an iPad Pro will function with only the USB-C cable. Overall, this is a very good portable monitor and will serve you well without breaking the bank.

Greater than one weekWorks great with my MacBook Pro, and my raspberry pi. Which is what I got it for. The case is really just a folded magnetic protector, that can fold to a standing position. It’s not entirely clear how to make it stand until you look at the pictures online. The cover also comes off east. Upon opening it I nearly dropped the screen, as it slid out of the cover. So just know it’s only held on by some magnets.

> 3 dayThis screen is amazing. I travel for work so it’s perfect because it’s not oversized and a burden and I am able to have a monitor to get my work done more efficiently! I have also used it for gaming on my PS5, and let me just tell you!!! The quality is top tier, especially for the price!

> 3 dayClear, well lit screen. Same 1920x1080 resolution as my laptop, so dragging windows from laptop screen to this screen doesn’t have that annoying resolution switch. I can carry this around with me to coffee shops, airport lounges, hotels, etc, and always have 2 screens available—powered from the USB port, no wall brick required. This is extremely useful for a traveling professional.
