Greater than one weekKYY screen had me excited the first few months and as I continued to use the screen continued to get worse and worse. My screen now has green flickering lines in the bottom with fuzzy pixeling throughout the screen all the while the screen continues to blackout because micro hdmi plug on the screen.

> 3 dayPleased with this monitor for the most part as far as the quality for the price, I paid, and the convenience of being able to travel back-and-forth with my laptop and have two monitors. The only complaint I have is the case that doubles as a stand, although it works great to protect the monitor when traveling it does not work that well to hold it up works better with just a regular cell phone stand

> 3 dayIve only had my new portable monitor for a few days, but so far Im extremely pleased with the device. It is exactly what I was hoping for. It is an extended display for my Windows 11 Dell laptop that only requires one cable (USB C for signal and power). The picture quality is as good as my laptop. The brightness is as good as my laptop. The colors are certainly satisfactory, but Im an business user, so I cant speak to the color quality for graphic design and photo editing. My only minor complaint is that case/stand. As a case, it is OK, but certainly doesnt provide any drop protection. All it is protecting against is scratches and dents while its in my laptop bag. Is that so bad, however? Because my laptop doesnt have any drop protection when it is out of the bag either. The case doubles as the stand and it is OK at best. It does hold up the monitor, using magnets and friction, but it would take much of a bump to send it flying or falling. Reading the instructions is helpful, as many people probably dont realize the bottom flap flips over for extra holding power. The weird thing is that it seems the magnet has reverse polarity from what it should. The top of the back of the case, if aligned with the top of the back of the monitor, actually repels instead of attracts. It still seems to work ok, but I do flip the screen around backward when I put it away, otherwise the case would be held about 1/2 from the screen due to magnet forces, instead of pulling tight. I think almost all of these monitors (other brands as well) have a bunch of negative reviews from people who didnt understand what they were doing. Many of them dont have a fully featured USB C cable capable of providing power and picture on a single cable. These folks will need two cables, one for HDMI and one for power. The monitor does come with both cables, just in case. I get the impression everyone expected single-cable operation, despite not knowing what their device (laptop, phone, etc.) would support. Some people even complained that a special cable was required for using it with an IPad or iPhone. Understand, this isnt the monitor manufacturers fault. It is the device manufacturer... or the user knowledge. Furthermore, USB-C just doesnt have very clear designations and specifications for everyday users. Lastly, some bad reviews are from people who purchased this for use sitting at their desk. Know what youre buying! There are better and cheaper options if all someone wants to do is use this at their desk. This is a great option for portability, but not what youd choose to buy if it is always going to sit on your desk and never move.

> 3 daythe monitor itself is fine but the only way i could make it work with a nintendo switch was to have the nintendo power adapter plugged into a wall. it doesn’t work with a high power battery pack (more than the 2.5A the manual suggested). the speakers aren’t very good, very tinny, but i’d expect that from a monitor. especially at this price wish it worked for me :(

> 3 dayThis screen doesn’t have the best picture quality, especially noticeable sitting next to my M1 Air, but it is very functional as a second screen. Being USBC powered is very convenient. With the cover folded over it’s thin and the computer and monitor together fit in the laptop pouch of my backpack.

> 3 dayI had to purchase a new display monitor as my asus mb16ace monitor would no longer show udemy vids correctly due to USB C issue. The KYY monitor came securely packaged and with all the different connections needed for my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) to get connected. I am currently using the USB C power block, along with the HDMI output from my laptop. So far, everything is working as expected and is intuitive to setup. The only issue that I foresee and am still figuring out is connecting to bluetooth headphones while using the KYY display. It seems that HDMI audio must go through the KYY display only, havent discovered a way around having to use the displays audio port. Otherwise, I can continue learning and feel this is a good purchase in continuing my studies on udemy.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor to display videos from a Raspberry Pi in my sons booth at craft fairs. It works beautifully! Easily portable, and plenty bright. As this monitor is Mini-HDMI and the Pi is Micro-HDMI, I had to get a separate cable to connect the two. Both the Raspberry Pi and the monitor are powered off of a 20K mAh power bank which can power them for ~5 hours. When its not being used in a booth, my wife added it as a third monitor for her Windows Work from Home setup, using the included HDMI/Mini-HDMI cable. Ive also hooked it up to my MacBook Pro using the included USB-C cable.

> 3 dayWorking from home now and I needed a second monitor. I previously had a different brand, and after ~10 months the mini HDMI port had gotten damaged (somehow). So I bothis one, and so far it has been 100% perfect for my needs.

> 3 dayThe screen itself is perfectly fine. I wish I could change the size of the apps, since it doesnt accept the display settings of the main laptop it is connected to, and theres no way to change the resolution or zoom on the device itself. The stand, however, is awful on this model. The magnet in the case is not strong enough to hold its shape when the monitor is placed on it. It just collapses. Utterly useless. Buy a different model with the folding cover, not the slip on case. This is terrible.
