> 24 hourNothing like randomly becoming lactose intolerant late in life. Some people get gas, and others upset stomach and yet others (like me) get violently ill and spend all night in the bathroom. Lactase/Lactaid concept: A specific enzyme changes the complex sugars in milk/cream/butter/cheese to simple sugars and you dont get ill. I tried these pills to counteract all the butter and cream in common foods so I dont get sick and they work. You have no idea how many foods we have in the US with cream and butter and cheese until you randomly become intolerant. I can completely change my eating and still cant avoid it. Actually at this point do I want to give up some of my favorites? I do eat less of these because Im aware of it now and my health feels better. But when needed I take one pill for a small amount (btw Cheetos have actual cheese.. that realization sucked), or one at start of meal and one at end if I have a dish that will cause the reaction. I keep some in my backpack for those times you order something without cheese and they forget. Happened a few days ago and it really saved me. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourThese magic pills really work! I take them with me in case I go somewhere and decide to have anything dairy. Depending on how much cheese or other type of dairy I eat; I may take two- three pills before eating. If you are lactose intolerant like me, you will not be disappointed!

> 24 hourWasnt always lactose intolerant. I can handle small amount of dairy (1-3 Tbl) when mixed with other food. That being said, these pills work for me eating 1C bowl of ice cream, whole grill cheese sandwich, pudding snack packs, box cake desserts, and store bought cookie snacks. No sprinting to the bathroom, no gas, no cramps. Im a happy camper!

> 24 hourJust to lop on the dog pile here, this Lactaid pills are great. Ive used this stuff for years, and I even have turned on a couple friends to these. I take a pill before and during eating dairy. Im moderately lactose intolerant, so even with this stuff I dont brave things like ice cream or straight milk, but cheese pizza is well within the window of survivability. On some instances for me Ive found that Lactaid pills wont take away certain undesired effects of lactose intolerance (you know what Im talking about), but it has taken away the sickly feeling and nausea which is well worth the price. This may be because Im more lactose intolerant than the typical light user. Some of you are probably wondering whether you should get the caplet or chewables. Ive used both, and there is no difference as far as which one works better or worse, theyre both great. If you have trouble taking pills or pills you may have to take semi-dry (these are standard Advil/Motrin sized caplet styled pills), you should go with the chewables. Otherwise, I would highly recommend going with caplets. The chewables have a pleasant taste at first, but after 60 of them, the vanilla flavoring starts being rather repulsive. The caplets you will never taste, and they go down easily. Also, they typically are of comparable price.

> 24 hourAs I have gotten older my tolerance to dairy is not what it used to be and I would not feel great and really bloated after eating or drinking dairy. This solved all of that. I dont like the taste of lactose free milk so this really saved me as I do like dairy. BTW hard aged cheeses do not have lactose in them as it is digested in the process of being made. Just a small bit of information I learned.

> 24 hourAs a lactose intolerant being, this product has helped me ingest many dairy products. I usually take 3 together immediately before lactose consumption and it works. I used to vomit, have abdominal cramping and diarrhea even with the smallest percentage of a milk ingredient, now I just pop 3 of these babies in my mouth and I’m good for at least 10-15 minutes. I still usually avoid dairy products for the most part but this definitely works and is great to take when you don’t know the full list of ingredients in what is given to you.

> 24 hourIt breaks as soon as my tongue touches it. I’m not sure if this is the product for me, because I’m still destroying restrooms. I do believe it’s good for light dairy, but if you’re like me and love dairy take 2-3.
