Didn’t last as long as I thought it did but lasted long enough to satisfy why I needed it. If you want it to last longer. Cut it off when not in use.

Got this when I lived in Harlem, in a room with NO AC 6 stories up, needless to say, IT WAS HOTTTTT. This fan basically saved my life, definitely my summer! Its low noise and is surprisingly cool. Dont expect an AC, but if you setup some cross ventilation, maybe even trick with ice bucket or cold water in front of it you can definitely get by. It has a remote which can be docked on the back of fan as to not lose it, and various settings such as rotate around 45-50 degrees and a timer. Only 3 speed settings on this one tho, but I often found I didnt always have to crank up to 3. Ive since moved out of Harlem to a cooler 2nd fl apt., and took this with me, but now I barely need it. But its always good to know Ol Blowy is there for me when I do!

This fan is very weak. The noise is significant for such a weak air flow. This is fine for a gentle breeze, but not more. I was looking for an oscillating fan to blow strongly on laundry line-drying indoors in high humidity, so as to prevent mildew smell which my apartment seems to be prone to. I am returning the fan and getting an industrial fan used by contractors to dry indoor wall paint. A V*rn*do would probably be OK but their models are mostly non-oscillating, and Ive lost my confidence in the regular-home-use fans after buying and returning another desk fan and also feeling the fans on display in appliance stores. At an appliance store I was told that, because the materials used now are so inferior, the fans simply could not withstand a stronger motor that would generate more air flow. 15 years ago I discarded a cheap desk fan made probably 25 years ago that was 4 to 5 times heavier than what they weight now and produced a much stronger air flow; I recommend looking for the old fans, if possible. Packing this up for return was surprisingly difficult; things have to fit just right otherwise you cannot close the box and the styrofoam pieces are asymmetrical. I highly recommend taking photos before or as you unpack, unless youre sure you will not be returning this.

This is not an air conditioner. I want everyone to understand that if you live in a hot humid state (like I do) and you dont have central air in your house (like I do) then you need to get a window ac unit to actually cool down a room. That being said, this a great directional cooling fan! I love this thing. I also bought the Lasko space heater for the cold winters so I recommend this brand to all my friends and family. I prefer the tower fan to pedestal fan because pedestals just circulate existing air, where towers blow out cooler air and are much more directional when you plan on sitting or laying for long periods. I use this fan mostly during the day when I plan on being at my desk for several hours. I will turn my ac unit up a few degrees so its not running as often and I turn this fan on to keep me cool if I get too warm. The remote control is easy to use and it has a 1-7 hour timer, 3 fan speeds, and oscillation. The lowest speed is pretty quiet but the highest speed has a slight humming noise but its much more quiet than my window ac unit. I use it while I sleep sometimes too when the heat and humidity is insane and it definitely helps me sleep.

Produces a good strong breeze on level 2, which is what I have it on all night during this gross heat wave and humid nights. It’s not loud- has white noise to help me sleep. I’m glad I bought it and I REALLY hope I never need to update my review because the fan quit working, of started making a horrible noise, etc. Fingers crossed!

The black and silver osculating fan is very sleek and nice looking. It is definitely quiet while blowing out the air and while it turns. I only gave it 4 stars out of 5 because of the following: 1. The remote didn’t come with batteries so you have to supply your own AAA set of two. 2. The one thing I wish for the fan would be more rotation of how it osculates. It only turns a half circle and I have a LASKO floor heater that allows for full circular rotation. 3. The fans highest level (3) is not strong by any means. This fan is made more for a light cool off in a room. Not for really HOT summers where you need a lot of cool down air movement.

The fan is almost noiseless. Convenient with the remote control. Good amount of air circulated

Good fan, not too loud but not quiet, was just hoping for a wider range of oscillation. Also I have to click my choice on the remote twice for it to start working
