> 3 daySo far I like this fan a lot. I like that it has a sleep function on it so I turn it on at night before going to sleep and I don’t need to worry about it. The remote control also makes it convenient so I do not need to get up every time I want to change the speed, timer or such. I don’t use the oscillation feature that much but it is nice that it is there. The noise level on the fan I wouldn’t say it’s quiet but it is not overly loud too unless you have it on top speed. I haven’t came across a fan yet that is really quiet anyway. The fan itself is not that sturdy when it is on the stand meaning that when it is touched it wobbles some and if you were to push it with force it could probably fall over. Overall neat fan.

Greater than one weekUpdate: I just got the remote For the other fan that has Bluetooth to work on my phone so everything is an A++ the fan is so quiet. I keep two in the living room and the round ones made so much noise so I got a standup round one, that made even more noise!!! So I thought I would try one of these hoping for the best. And jackpot!!! They are quiet they keep it cool. They have all great features for this fan and I couldn’t be happier!!! I bought one and then I had to buy another! I’m just so happy!!! I did buy the one with the Bluetooth remote but I haven’t been able to get that to work yet but other than that they are the best ever!!!

> 3 dayI really like that this fan has a remote. It’s powerful and helps to keep our bedroom cool a lot. However, I find I cannot use the oscillation feature at night because it makes this faint creaking noise whenever it switches direction. I’m very sensitive to noise when I’m falling asleep, and when it’s silent in the room, that freaking feels so loud it keeps me up at night. That’s my only complaint with this fan, but it is irritating to not be able to have the fan oscillate at night.

Greater than one weekLasted less than 2 years, and it was on for prob 12 hours a day. Pain in the butt to clean. The remote works fine, but its so small that it sort of was lost for most of its life. I mean, the fan was good enough that Im about to buy a second one, but I expected more for $60.

> 3 dayGreat fan for the price. My kids are always hot and I’m battling to keep the thermostat at a cost I can afford. This kept them happy. Works really well and made well. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayThis fan is very weak. The noise is significant for such a weak air flow. This is fine for a gentle breeze, but not more. I was looking for an oscillating fan to blow strongly on laundry line-drying indoors in high humidity, so as to prevent mildew smell which my apartment seems to be prone to. I am returning the fan and getting an industrial fan used by contractors to dry indoor wall paint. A V*rn*do would probably be OK but their models are mostly non-oscillating, and Ive lost my confidence in the regular-home-use fans after buying and returning another desk fan and also feeling the fans on display in appliance stores. At an appliance store I was told that, because the materials used now are so inferior, the fans simply could not withstand a stronger motor that would generate more air flow. 15 years ago I discarded a cheap desk fan made probably 25 years ago that was 4 to 5 times heavier than what they weight now and produced a much stronger air flow; I recommend looking for the old fans, if possible. Packing this up for return was surprisingly difficult; things have to fit just right otherwise you cannot close the box and the styrofoam pieces are asymmetrical. I highly recommend taking photos before or as you unpack, unless youre sure you will not be returning this.

> 3 dayA fan I purchased from a big box store always beeped each time I changed the setting. This one doesnt do that and Im so glad; Im not a fan of unnecessary noises. It cooled great, had a great range of motion and didnt take up too much space. However, if you have a 4 year old who owns plastic swords, Ill forewarn you that this does not stand up to having a sword stuck inside the slats. One would think it would since that is so common to do that to any fan but, no. The fan teeth will break and your 4 year old will cry at the noise. Even the second time with a new sword, the fan teeth will break and you will have to throw out your favorite fan, because, at this age, fans are exciting and necessary. Will buy again once the 4 year old is 5 and its summer again. I totally recommend this fan and if you buy it, youll be very glad you did.
