Easy to set up and works great

Didn’t last as long as I thought it did but lasted long enough to satisfy why I needed it. If you want it to last longer. Cut it off when not in use.

Quiet and powerful

A fan I purchased from a big box store always beeped each time I changed the setting. This one doesnt do that and Im so glad; Im not a fan of unnecessary noises. It cooled great, had a great range of motion and didnt take up too much space. However, if you have a 4 year old who owns plastic swords, Ill forewarn you that this does not stand up to having a sword stuck inside the slats. One would think it would since that is so common to do that to any fan but, no. The fan teeth will break and your 4 year old will cry at the noise. Even the second time with a new sword, the fan teeth will break and you will have to throw out your favorite fan, because, at this age, fans are exciting and necessary. Will buy again once the 4 year old is 5 and its summer again. I totally recommend this fan and if you buy it, youll be very glad you did.

Absolutely love it all around. The noise mode isn’t that loud. I’ve seen many people talk about it being loud, but mine is not. I live in an attic with my fiancé and we are happy with this product because on those hot days when we used to suffer, now we have this and it keeps us cool. If you have a huge room I’d recommend maybe getting two, it would definitely help a-lot. The osculation is pretty far and most fans we have gotten has blown out hot air but this one blows out cold. And I couldn’t ask for better. I am glad I chose to get this item, the good reviews are what made me go for it. And I have no regrets so far!!! Go get you one if you are out there sweating and can’t have an air conditioner in your window!!!

I almost feel bad for those that claim to have received a lemon of a fan. This is my 2nd Lasko 36 tower fan and it works just as well as my 1st one thats many years old. The new one - the 2511 - has only been in use for a couple weeks thus far, but its quiet and moves enough air on low speed that I can feel the slight breeze at roughly 15ft away. Thats just on low. Turned up to high and with the fan standing in the entry way I can feel the air moving at the end of the hall which is probably 30ft away. No chattering during oscillation, either. The same thing can be said for my older Lasko 36 tower fan. I mean much older. Years and years older. Not a decade old, but at least 6 years; old enough to not be sure exactly when I got it. That one has gotten noisy on me, but a fillips screw driver to take off the back panel and an air compressor with an air nozzle to blow out any dust bunnies or cob webs usually made it run quietly again. If it still chattered it was due to the L-bracket which the top of the fan cylinder rides in (just a nub in a sleeve deal) wasnt quite aligned at a right angle. Squaring that off and adding a little bit of grease on the spinning parts made it run quietly once more. If I werent so tired Id go make a video clip of it operating to prove the 6 (or more) year old Lasko 36 tower fan still runs quietly, even while oscillating, I would, but for now ya folks will just have to take my word for it.

I enjoy using this fan for my living room. It is a small enough space that with the fan on I can leave it on for long periods of time without feeling frozen out. With that being said, it is low on the power scale. I think the fan adds to the already a/cd home. However, it feels like a nice breeze when its directly on me while i surf the internet or watch tv. Even taking a nap on the sofa with it not directly on me, helps me sleep well and has gives them room a nice cool temperature, again with the ac on, it is just a fan not an ac fan. I love the WHITE color because it blends with my white fireplace in my apartment and white furniture and because of this and its height, does not look like it takes up noticeable space. It does oscillate (rotate) and it does have a remote. It however does not have a titling knob (that I could find) that directs the airflow up and down, yet, that doesnt bother me because the flow seems at a nice angle when i sit on the floor or sit on a couch. The airflow only goes as high as the fan opening. I really like this fan and think that Lasko being in business for SO many years, they made a good product at a reasonable price.

Update: I just got the remote For the other fan that has Bluetooth to work on my phone so everything is an A++ the fan is so quiet. I keep two in the living room and the round ones made so much noise so I got a standup round one, that made even more noise!!! So I thought I would try one of these hoping for the best. And jackpot!!! They are quiet they keep it cool. They have all great features for this fan and I couldn’t be happier!!! I bought one and then I had to buy another! I’m just so happy!!! I did buy the one with the Bluetooth remote but I haven’t been able to get that to work yet but other than that they are the best ever!!!

The fan works…. But if you want a fan that works when it’s set to high don’t get this fan… when it’s on its highest setting it feels like it’s on low… over all it’s a decent fan quiet and moves the air but not what you’d expect for an oscillating tower fan… this is the 2nd one I got the first one my dog ate the cord before I could even try it.. I will keep it in my guest room for use but I don’t recommend if you want a high powered fan
