I loved this build. Lego did it right. This is well worth the money. I was worried because it seemed really expensive but once built its huge and all in all took me several days to complete over multiple hours a day and some full nights. The book is very detailed and easy to follow. I wasnt missing anything and even ended up with extra pieces. Each step is separated out into numbered bags and each one seemed to take about the same amount of time to complete which was cool because it gave me a good idea about how much time it would take to try and sneak a step in between work. Also wasnt difficult, just pay close attention to the instructions. I did mess up a couple of times but was easy to fix. Once the whole chassis is built, it can get difficult to see exactly where it wants you to place something. Really couldnt be happier, the wheels move with the steering wheel, the guns pop up and the canopy slides open. Was surprised at how much of it is functional. Looks great on the shelf.

This is a fantastic LEGO. Quality is, of course, exceptional. The detail though is amazing. It has so many little features that you really have to build it to believe it. It has a working gas pedal, shifter, handbrake, rising guns. It looks exceptional when finished. Building is a bit harder than a standard LEGO. My 9 year old made a few mistakes building that I had to go in and fix before he could go on. He normally doesnt struggle with these builds, so I was surprised by the challenge this presented.

As a kid who watched the Batman 89 VHS tape so much that the tape wore out and snapped, this was a very special build for me! I received this for Fathers day and built it with my 4-year-old son. He excitedly asked me everyday if we could work on building that Batmobile. There are definitely parts that are way too hard for small children and it is obviously not meant for them, but he still really enjoyed helping (hes built way more Legos than me). Going in it seemed like it might just be a bunch of boring black pieces, but it was actually an enthralling build. Seeing everything come together...the steering wheel that really turns the wheels, the pop-up machine guns, the sliding cockpit wraparound windshield...such a blast! Also this thing is huge! Truly something to behold. I fully plan on getting the Batwing to complete the pairing!

Got this as a birthday gift from my friends, apart from their obvious generosity, nothing can top this recreation of the iconic batmobile. The part count per dollar is great , the theme is great , the figures are necessary but are great , and the build itself is near perfect. If you are on the fence about this and have the money for it, I highly recommend purchasing as not only do you get an amazing build but a satisfying building process, the design team really outdid themselves.

I watched 10 Batman movies while I built this, and I enjoyed every moment. Helped me catch up on a bunch of DC animated movies, and it looks amazing. Going to get the light kit next then the Bat Wing!

Ive put together a lot of Lego sets and this was by far one of the most challenging and most rewarding set so far. Took me about 14 hours to build and it looks amazing. Its not small either. I like how they added the rotating base. Highly recommend.

Two things I loved as a kid: Lego and 1989 Batman I cant even count how many times I watched the VHS tape of the 1988 Batman movie. Over and over and over again. When this Batmobile kit was announced, I knew I had to have it. Building it was a blast. I sat with my son for 3 days and we built the Batmobile as we watched the 1989 Batman movie. Like all Lego kits, instructions were easy to follow and all the pieces were there. The difficulty level is high for this build and it definitely takes patience. The end product is awesome. I am currently looking at lighting kits to add some flare to the build. The nostalgia of watching the 1989 Batman while I built the Batmobile was awesome and I got to create some fun memories with my son in the process!

I found the instructions not as detailed as 18+ builds but it looks cool with my 80s theme
