> 3 dayNot a complicated build but it’s very large, it’s longer then the Bugatti I have. If your a Batman fan I really recommend this set before it’s discontinued.

> 3 dayStuck at home during COVID with countless nights of watching Netflix, Id been craving an escape and this was it. Im a middle-aged Batman fanatic and the 1989 Batmobile is my favorite of them all. This build is a beast; its large, heavy, reinforced, and wonderfully time-consuming. Its easy to notice that details were carefully crafted by the designers. All the dimensions are as they should be, which I know probably wasnt easy to design for such a sloping frame... so I appreciate that. It definitely feels and looks like a Batman brand, and not something designed to only pass as close to resembling the original design. In total, it was 2, 7-hour building sessions of pure uninterrupted bliss/therapy. During that time, with my concentration tongue sticking out for the majority of it, I thought of nothing else but concentrating on the surprisingly challenging 3,300 piece build. It was mentally stimulating and satisfied my need to create something. It took me 14 hours total, but I was on a roll so Id expect it to take a little longer if youre really going to relax with it. My speediness might have been directly related to my listening to the original Batman score through the first 4 or 5 bags. note: You should expect to have a small handful of tiny pieces left over. Im assuming that is to make up for the loss of some, for whatever reason. For example, I know that Vicki Vale doesnt need 2 cameras, etc. None of them were major pieces, so if you have some of those bigger ones left over, I suggest flipping backwards in the instructional book until you notice what you forgot. Pros: Its really the apex of Lego Batman builds. The build is challenging and the result is an impressive conversation piece. Cons: I finished it and now I want the Batwing.

Greater than one weekIve put together a lot of Lego sets and this was by far one of the most challenging and most rewarding set so far. Took me about 14 hours to build and it looks amazing. Its not small either. I like how they added the rotating base. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayTwo things I loved as a kid: Lego and 1989 Batman I cant even count how many times I watched the VHS tape of the 1988 Batman movie. Over and over and over again. When this Batmobile kit was announced, I knew I had to have it. Building it was a blast. I sat with my son for 3 days and we built the Batmobile as we watched the 1989 Batman movie. Like all Lego kits, instructions were easy to follow and all the pieces were there. The difficulty level is high for this build and it definitely takes patience. The end product is awesome. I am currently looking at lighting kits to add some flare to the build. The nostalgia of watching the 1989 Batman while I built the Batmobile was awesome and I got to create some fun memories with my son in the process!

> 3 dayIt is hard for me to express how remarkably detailed this set is. It has a suspension, and a steering mechanism! At 3,300+ pieces its really much closer to a puzzle than it is a Lego set, and it has been a Covid-19 godsend as my kids (10-16) have sunk hours into this project without hours left to go. This isnt really a set you will play with, its meant more for display, and its incredibly expensive, I certainly wouldnt have purchased it absent the opportunity to review it for free. But there is no denying the value. This is truly a Lego work of art and an incredibly complex and engaging build and is well worth the cost if it is an investment you are interested in making.

> 3 dayThis kit is AMAZING! 3300 pieces of outstanding Lego replication of the classic 89 Batmobile. My youngster didnt understand why I was so excited about it until I made him watch the film and show him how cool a Batmobile this one really was (no offense to the Tumbler but this is the REAL Batmobile). This takes patience to build. Its not as tough as some of the Technic kits that are super detailed, but it being primarily a single color presents a nifty and different challenge from many of the other builds. A totally awesome display piece that will go on the wall of kits with the Saturn V, ISS, Apollo Lander, Fat Boy and Mustang!!!
