LEGO DC Batman 1989 Batmobile 76139 Building Kit (3,306 Pieces)

Bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it! Was super thankful to have found it here on amazon instead of waiting several days via the LEGO store.

It is soooo awesome! I’m a big Batman fan and this batmobile however difficult at times was super awesome to put together!

Honest Lego Review: Style: I find the building kit to work for any Batman fan that is aged Preteen-Adult range. Flaws: It is the most pieces over 3000, that we have ever attempted to complete and should set some time aside to dedicate to its assembly. Not a convertible model, once it is built, well you cant do much of anything besides place it on your bookshelf or somewhere else to display. Overall, I recommend this Lego set because it really is an awesome large model. My son has a couple different batman mobiles but none at this scale. He loves the color black, you will see a lot of that color over a good period of time. My son is very patient and loves building, so this was an excellent set for him to dedicate his focus and time (instead of wasting time playing video games). Incredible. This is actually bigger and better than I thought it would be. If you are a Batman or LEGO fan or collector, this is a no brainer. Very happy. (At the time of writing this review I have not finished building it yet. Once I have if I encounter any issues or missing pieces I will update this review).

Awesome build. But it’s very fragile. The back end came apart when moving it around. Had to tear it down and rebuild. Glued the fragile areas.

Bought this just to collect the minifies included in this set. Have not put it together yet but from all the reviews on the web this is a great set to invest in or build for displaying.

Edit: second set was perfect. This was the most fun Ive had on a build yet. Such a cool set! Watching it come together was quite enjoyable. Ive never had a defective Lego set before, but several of the pieces were warped to the point that the blocks didnt line up as needed on step 106. At first I thought I made a mistake, so I broke everything down and started again...only to run into the same issue on the same step. Heres hoping the replacement doesnt have the same issue.
