> 24 hourThis train set is so detailed in every aspect and would definitely delight a Potter fan no matter what age is the person. I bought one for myself and another for my nephew and he loved it so much. I am not disclosing what details are in there so that it will be a sweet surprise once you start building it. This set is definitely a collectible for a Potter and Lego fan. Dont miss it while it is on sale this Holiday season on Amazon.

> 24 hourOutside of the mini-figs and some themed decor, this set requires imagination to connect it to the Wizarding world of Harry Potter. Particularly the platform, which is quite bare bones. It is disappointing that a more extravagant platform wasnt created as that is a major part of the Hogwarts Express experience. As a display item, it is unlikely anyone will immediately connect it to Harry Potter until they look closer. All that said, of course the train is the main attraction and it is certainly well-designed. Instructions are clear as always, a constant strength of Lego. The difficulty is not too extreme so Lego fans of any age should enjoy the experience. Im not sure if there are additional Harry Potter sets that tie into this one, thus telling a bigger story. The one positive of it being ambiguously Harry Potter themed is that it is a perfectly good train either way--a fun set to build for the holidays or any time. At only 801 pieces, its also something that wont exhaust the Lego builder who may struggle with the patience to complete larger projects. Overall, not a top tier Lego creation, but a nice addition for Harry Potter fans.

> 24 hourKinda disappointed. Some parts didn’t fit like on the instruction and the characters are difficult to place. You basically pay for the franchise (Harry Potter more so than Legos) and it’s the most disappointing lego set I’ve gotten. And this was the most expensive. I thought I’d really love this but I’m not.
