LEGO Ideas 21316 The Flintstones Building Kit (748 Pieces)

Fun to build the flintstone home, but wheres dino? Look at the tv... Would like another set or two

This is a great set. And I know its the usual LEGO MO to not include EVERY minifig that should be part of a set (to get you to buy other sets), this is different. First, how are you going to have the Flintstones and the Rubbles, but not include the kids? No Pebbles or Bam Bam minifig. Also, if you have this set, it should also have Dino. Second, connected to the first, this isnt like Ninjago or Avengers or whatever where you have so many sets to choose from that you can make your whole minifig team. How many Flintstones sets are there? As far as I know, this one. Thats it. So youll never have the full family. But overall its a great fun set. Really nostalgic if you ever watched/loved the cartoon.

Awesome gift! My brother was super stoked for this item! Two of his favorites: legos and Flintstones.

I like the set, and enjoyed building it, but Im disappointed that the LEGO designers who adapted this from the LEGO Ideas creator, chose to omit some things that could have made the set amazing: 1. No Dino the Dinosaur--there is a picture of him on a TV set with a news report that he is missing. 2. No Pebbles and no Bamm Bamm. 3. The lack of inclusion of a cartoon dinosaur, like the one Fred uses at his gravel quarry job. 4. While Wilma and Betty have two expressions to use on their head pieces, Fred and Barney only have one. Overall, the set is cute, and maybe including Dino and a cartoonish dinosaur goes beyond the LEGO Ideas requirement for the number of pieces that can be used, or was not cost effective. It was still fun to build and Im glad I have it on my shelf. One other minor point, the man who came up with this Idea set created an AMAZING Welcome to Bedrock Sign which truly should have been included as part of the final product. The 1st picture Ive attached is the creators set, the 2nd is the ACTUAL set as released by LEGO.

First of all it’s awesome and could be better at the same time, but definitely awesome. It’s a lower price point for a trademarked LEGO build, so they had to leave stuff out. I love the box because it’s like a one piece shoebox and it will make storage easy by keeping pieces together. The first bag is the car build and it is super cute. The mini figures are the biggest disappointment as they are Legos as The Flintstines rather than The Flintstones as Legos. What I mean is they are Legos dressed as The Flintstones. They do not have any of the facial characteristics of the actual Flintstones which is disappointing. Overall it’s a great set and my teenage daughter was all in for building it.

Building is my favorite thing to do.

This is excellent quality. Fun to build. A must have for any Flinstones fan.

Great product

Very nice but a little expensive but, now the grandkids are watching old Flintstones cartoons. Love it!!
