LEGO Ideas 21316 The Flintstones Building Kit (748 Pieces)

Actually pretty difficult to assemble for my 10 yr old. But that is the reason we bought it. It’s a learning tool for my kids.

This set is awesome in the fact that it really reflects the iconic characters of the Flinstones. The set itself is easy to put together, it has almost 800 pieces, but because of all the smaller units, it does not take that long or is that difficult to complete. The figures look great, and the house/car as well. The only bad thing I can call out for this set is the fact that Dino is missing. I dont understand why they did not make one for him, except likely cost to create a face on a dinosaur, but it is a pity since it feels like the family is not complete. Outside of that, it contains all the main characters I care about and it even has some bowling parts. Definitely one to own for any Lego and Flintstones fan.

I loved putting this Lego kit together. I did it in one night. it was not that hard.

This may be my favorite Lego kit. It was a joy to assemble and watch the house come together. This is a must have kit, I cant imagine they will ever do this one again and the price will soar once it goes out of print. A minor negative is I wish the house had used more of a boulder design like the cartoon but the way it looked made it easier to assimilate it in our Lego village.
