I loved putting this Lego kit together. I did it in one night. it was not that hard.

Great set rotten price!

It does turn out to be a bit smaller than youd think from the parts...but a super kit. Its so retro and completely like the series. It doesnt have Dino as a character. But cleverly, the tv in the living room has Dino Missing on the screen.

This Flinstones set is fun to put together. It includes four main characters from the show as well as the Flinstone house, vehicle, and mailbox. I really appreciate that since its a premium set, there are no stickers- any special designs are printed on the bricks themselves. BUT, the set is ultimately not up to Legos typical standards for great details in premium sets. Most importantly, Dino is not included as a figure. If you compare this final product to the proposed Ideas product, there are a number of fun things missing- like the Bedrock town sign. Even the expressions painted on the minifigures look better in the proposal than the final product. It looks to me like Lego tried to cut costs on this one, perhaps to make the set cheaper. You do get a good amount of bricks for the price and it will likely make any Flinstones fan happy, but the final product just doesnt display the attentive details weve come to expect from Legos premium sets.

Now is the time to love Lego again! Adults, kids, so fun! Grab some and have fun! No, I am not paid to say this, I am just saying, this is not a great time to be without something to do!
