This is such a fun LEGO collectors set for anyone who is or was a fan of the Flintstones. I know Flintstones is older than me, but as an 80s baby I still watched it as a kid. Then there was that awful movie version of it in the 90s with John Goodman and Halle Berry and Nick Moranis...anyway, its so nostalgic! That alone makes this a fun set. Some other reviewers have mentioned the price being high, especially compared to LEGOs website. When this set was first released on Amazon, the price was high, but has since come down to regular price. That happens a lot of with newly released toys and LEGO. My kids have a BAZILLION LEGOs in our basement, we have a whole LEGO city with lots of larger sets, and this current price is very appropriate for this size of LEGO set. It was an easy set to do, and I did this one myself without the kids help. It took me a little over an hour and was a very fun, easy build. There are 4 minifigs of the main characters: Fred, Wilma, Barney, and Betty. A lot of reviewers are disappointed there is no Dino (although, amusingly, the TV set shows a news report about Dino being missing) or Bam Bam or Pebbles. Oh well, I mean, you knew before you ordered this set right? It does include lots of Flintstones details which are very impressive, such as Freds bowling set, the TV, and even their stone-age vehicle with the steak on the side! My only two disappointments with this set were: 1. The adorable fireplace is covered up almost completely by the couch. I really loved the fireplace design but when I got to the sofa building part, it completely covers that cute feature. I know it can be moved if played with, but this is more of a collectors/adult LEGO set and so its a little disappointing. 2. The roof doesnt snap on--or at least not that I could figure out! It just sort of sits on the house at an angle, but is loose. I dont love that. But neither of my critiques are enough to take away from the 5 stars I feel this LEGO Flintstones set deserves. Its cute and fun and so very nostalgic. It is true to the original cartoon in many ways, and a great LEGO tribute to this classic American cartoon show. I rate it Yabba-dabba-DOO!!! {Sorry for that, I couldnt help myself.}

Great set. My son loves it. He usually finishes them in one night. This one took him two. He loved the challenge.

Great set for someone who loves Flinstones and Legos. I taught my kids about Flinstones while helping them build this set. Brought back fond memories of watching the show as a kid.
