> 24 hourThis is a great company to work with. We have two of their humidifiers and one started leaking. It was after the return time on Amazon and so I reached out to the company. Without hesitation, they sent me a new unit which is working great as well. Definitely will buy my next humidifier from this company.

> 24 hourSo far, it has been a nice unit. Ive had it running for 3 days now. The first time I had to refill it I noticed that the handle is offset so that the reservoir is not balanced well in the hand and that makes it a bit difficult when trying to reseat it into the unit. It definitely takes two hands to put the reservoir back onto the unit - the handle placement makes it back-heavy. I also thought I was going to have to send it back. I hadnt realized that the machine had not turned off when I removed the reservoir. When I replaced it, the display went very dim and none of the buttons worked. Removing the power reset that. When I turned it back on, it registered the current humidity at 80% which I knew wasnt true. I removed the power again, restarted it, and it has been fine since. I have to say I am not crazy about the button feel. I cant tell where to press - there is no feedback but a chime, and the pressure point is not centered in each button. Im also not happy about having to reset the desired humidity and output level every time I refill the unit. And so far, mine has a continuous display of current humidity and then desired humidity. However, they document in MANY places that you can hold the auto button down for 3 seconds to have a blank display and that does work. Its a very nice unit, small and compact. The reservoir holds just over one gallon of water - maybe 10 pounds max. It comes with instructions, a cleaning brush, and an incentive to take pictures for reward. The reservoir is flat so it is easy to refill at the kitchen sink. It is also extremely quiet. The humidity detector is above the oil pad - which I havent tried yet. I think the remote is superfluous but its darned cute. It does seem to put out a lot of mist on the cold setting. I havent tried the heat yet but I think thats a definite plus to be able to choose. It has a 3 level setting for output. On the highest setting, I have to refill the unit about every 24 hours. That should give you an idea of the output on the highest setting. To compare, my pharmacy-purchased humidifier outputs very close to the same amount of water in 12 hours. I have it in a large den so it isnt really fair to try to evaluate the output this way, but I can say in 3 days it has raised its detection of humidity by 3% - which seems reasonable. I did notice the reading creeped up to 40% at one point (erroneously) and cut off the unit even though I had set desired humidity to 45%. I have it sitting on a high table with plastic underneath it. I find that all humidifiers drip water when you remove the tank - its just in the nature of the beast. There is one small problem in that the mist vents cover the handle. I find I have to stick a fingernail into a vent to remove it. I have tried using the machine without the vents in place and that confuses the humidity detector. The vents swivel and one is slightly larger than the other. Despite the minor drawbacks, I think it is a nice unit. But I think I paid mostly for bells and whistles. Update: Drop rating from 4 to 3 stars. Ive had this humidifier for over three weeks now and I wish I hadnt purchased it for this price. First, it doesnt really turn off any more than your tv turns off. It stays in a standby mode when it runs out of water. The blower doesnt run (I guess) until you fill it up. Good in that it keeps a memory of your settings. The other thing that has become very annoying is trying to put the filled reservoir back on the unit. I know Ive mentioned the location of the handle. But when you put the reservoir back on, it has to be completely level and two locations have to match up exactly. So, IMO, it would be a good humidifier at half the price. I paid more than $50 for mine. As it is, its just ok.

> 24 hourThough I do not feel aroma oils, all the product design, UX/UI design, app connectivity, and functionality are awesome!!!! I’ve struggled with washing humidifiers and refilling waters in them, but I like this top-fill and easy to maintenance humidifier!!!

> 24 hourThis humidifier works very well in a large room. I have used it in my living/dining room for about 2 years now . I didnt use it over the summers though as there was no need for it. I like the multiple settings and large tank. The problem is that, even though I handled it carefully, it developed a leak in the tank seam between the clear part and the white bottom in less than a year. I used it for a total of 9-11 months and stored it the rest of the time. After storage I filled it and it started to leak. This is a fairly expensive unit and it makes no sense to replace it every year. I have always used distilled water in it and handled it with care. I have searched for a replacement tank but have found none. I tired to seal the tank seam with silicone sealant but that only worked for about 2-3 weeks. Now I have to throw the hole thing away and find something that will hopefully will last. Review Update: 12/19/22: It turns out that while I only used the humidifier for about 9-11 months it was actually over 2 winter seasons so I actually owned it for almost 2 years before the tank started leaking. About 3 weeks after I sealed the tank with silicon sealant, it started leaking again. This time I looked at the base unit and realized I had a 2 year warranty, unfortunately when I checked my purchase date on Amazon, it was 5 days past 2 years. I decided to call Levoit service and see what they could do for me. They said I needed to send them the purchase receipt and a pic of the leaking part. I did and they send me whole new unit. I have changed my rating from 1 to 4 because of the great service. I didnt give it a 5 because it still failed pretty early in its life.

> 24 hourMy home gets very dry in the winter months. I put this in my bedroom and noticed a difference immediately. I bought a second one for my sons house!

> 24 hourEasy to fill. Quiet. Only reason I didnt give five stars is it takes a lot to learn the functions of the control buttons. Some buttons have multiple functions. Operation is not use friendly.

> 24 hourI like it alright. I think it’s a good humidifier. The only thing that annoys me about it is that I only get one night out of it before I have to refill the tank, and also if it runs out of water, instead of turning off, it just continues to try starting over and over again and it makes a noise when it does that, which is annoying. I wish it would just turn off when it runs out instead of trying aimlessly to start over and over again until I wake up and turn it off.

> 24 hourLots to like about this humidifier but, there are a couple of minor things that could be improved in the next design. As others have said, filling the container is not nearly as simple as it could be with a better design. The container would be easier to clean if the fill hole was larger. The sleep mode works but, when turned back on, it doesnt seem to revert to its original setting. A longer cord would be helpful. The set humidity level doesnt seem to work consistently. Overall a great product; very quiet, well built, so far operates very smoothly. I would highly recommend it.

> 24 hourIve had this humidifier for about a month and Ive used it many times and I can definitely give it a positive 4-star review. It does have a few minor issues which I will detail below but overall it is really nice and it definitely works and helps. First I got this because of its larger size and because it has hot and cool steam. You have to be careful with hot or cool steam depending on where you put it or what your allergy and sinus situation is. I actually talked to my doctor prior to unboxing this. I dont have allergies or seasonal allergies. I live in Michigan so in the winters it can be super dry for sometimes up to 5 months. My furnace does not have a humidifier so this is serving as the only humidifier in the home. That said when I started having dry coughs when I would lay down at night my doctor recommended I try some moisture in the air but to not overdo it. So just make sure you actually talk to a professional if youre having real sinus issues. As for the mist you have different levels and humidity that you can set which I really love but get yourself a free-standing hydrometer to tell you the humidity in your house. The one thats on the machine simply is not accurate which you will see in almost every review. You can get them from between $8 to $17 and sometimes you can get a two pack for under 20. That will be accurate to tell the humidity and temperature in your house or outside. The machine has a slight flaw because it lists the humidity in its direct area and since it has mist and moisture all around it in my opinion it reads up to 15% off. Right now Ive had my humidifier running for several hours and my room is reading at 30% with my own hydrometer but it says 55% on the machine. So if you need your room to be at 40% humidity when you first set it, put it to about 50 or 55. After its been running for at least 4 hours you might be able to adjust that. The machine will shut off or stay kind of a dormant state if its either run out of water or the humidity reaches what youve set it at. So if you were to set the machine to 40% and it thinks its at 40% almost immediately youre not going to get any moisture out of it. Thats why I recommend the additional humidity device. Mine is called Thermapro and you can find it on Amazon. One of the selling points for this was its large size as I have a 15x18 living room with vaulted ceilings. I wanted this to be like a saving Grace and unfortunately it doesnt humidify up to the size that it actually says. But it does a good job putting moisture in a room with a standard size ceiling and a smaller footprint. Putting it in a large room or room with high ceilings you will definitely notice a difference but it will take a while. When you first use this I recommend cleaning it thoroughly and getting yourself a dedicated either folding table or stand with a towel on it. It tells you not to put it on a wood surface or floor and you definitely dont want to do that. Depending on the water situation you have you might get a slight white residue on some things. Its similar to like a very very light powder and I mostly got it just over the machine where the steam would cascade down. It didnt affect the towel or the table that I put mine on but it was there. I did not use distilled water as they suggest because for me I will be running this at least 5 days a week and the cost to do that just wouldnt be worth it. For some people it might be and if you have a baby it might be a really good recommendation. I noticed when cleaning for the first time I did feel a slight build up on one of the internal pieces similar to how dried chalk feels. It was very easy to clean off with just a damp rag but the heating plate area I had a white scale buildup immediately after first build. This might alarm some people but it should not alarm you. It looks like it is just dried salt and its mineral in your water. I live in a metro area with very good clean water but unfortunately depending on where you live you might have that. If you live in a rural area or you use any kind of well water system or non-city water that has high minerals youre probably going to get a buildup. Theyre a really good instructions on how to clean this and you have to make sure that you clean that scale after a few uses. Overall the cleaning process knocks this down a star for me. Its nice I can fit my hand in the tank if you have very large hands you might not be able to. Its a little bit clunky and bulky and I do not like that you fill it from the bottom. There is a handle that you can carry but once you flip it youll see that its just kind of awkward to place on the base and since its over a gallon of water it can be a little bit heavier which might be problematic for some people. The base has a couple of pieces that can be removed and or cleaned or replaced. The cleaning of the base and how you have to spill the water into the sink when youre done requires you to remove the plug and the base after youve removed the tank. I find this process a little cumbersome and I wish that you could lift pieces up and actually rinse them. You cant do that with the base obviously because it has the cord and so you need to use a rag to clean which I didnt love. But I didnt get a lot of scalar buildup other than on the heating element which is the black square and the mist tube. I recommend getting just a dollar store bottle brush if you dont already have something to clean the inside otherwise I could see in the future it potentially having a skill build up in there regardless of your water usage. Going back to the humidity it definitely puts out a really good mist and I find that if you need to get the humidity up in your room for for dry sinuses or dry skin I would recommend doing the hot setting for at least 4 to 6 hours and then you could switch to a cold setting if you prefer afterwards. In my opinion the cold setting is kind of more maintaining moisture in the air and the heat setting really gets it into the air and has a very noticeable difference. If I go to bed at night and my room says 22% humidity and I run it on the hot setting medium mist and medium heat for 8 hours when I wake up itll be at about 35% if that helps. Then Ill just put it on a low setting on cold after I clean and refill the tank and keep it in there to maintain levels. I also love that this comes with a remote and you can turn the display off by hitting the auto button and holding for 3 seconds if you cant find the remote. he advised if you have a little one or any animals the remote is very small and super light. The first day that we set this up I had the remote on the bed and the cat decided to play with it and flicked it all over the place. So you might want to get some velcro and attach it to the back of the remote and the machine so you always know where the remote is. Overall I do think its easy to use its fairly easy to clean but Ive noted my dislikes. It definitely does work just not on as big of a room as it says. In our living room when I put the hydrometer on one side where the humidifier was and registered it for 3 hours and then moved it to the far other side about 25 ft away it was reading 7 to 10 degrees less humidity so you kind of have to take it for what its worth. I think its worth a shot.
