> 24 hourI bought 2 of these because I previously owned 2 of the 1080 versions of the LG Ultragear monitors and was quite pleased with them. I open them up to find that there is no height adjustment for these monitors. That may work for some but on my desk I need my monitors to sit higher up than this. There is also no cable management built in like the 1080s had which is preferable since my desk is in an open space in my house and I would rather not have the cables hanging loose. The final straw is the ridiculously short power cable they come with. The plug is right on the power brick so they block 2 additional spots on my power strip and the cords are so short they dont even reach where I have them on my desk. I havent decided if I will keep them or not but if I do I will have to run another power strip right next to where the monitors are and will have to buy adjustable stands. The only version of these I can find with an adjustable stand also has a higher refresh rate and costs another $130 extra. LG has really cheaped out on the design here.....

> 24 hourSetup was easy, and everything booted up with no issues. There are dead pixels in the center of the right side of the screen. Any kind of quality control would have caught them, as they were dead on first bootup.

> 24 hourThis monitor does not have true HDR. If you read the fine print on their website and the manual, this has simulated HDR, not true HDR. Very noticeable when you compare it to a True HDR monitor.

> 24 hourI just got this monitor a day ago at the time of the review, so if anything changes I will update it. This monitor works great with both my Gaming Pc and the series X. The PC uses the G-sync and this monitor display 1440p 144hz perfectly. The display is so smooth compared to my 1080p 60hz monitor I was using. The xbox series x is also great on this monitor. I get 1440p 120hz on it with out a problem. This is an hdmi 2.0 monitor and not a 2.1 so dont go expecting 4k 120hz. Great monitor and have enjoyed it over the last 24 hours. Will update if anything changes since my early review of it.

> 24 hourSuper disappointed in the fact that the stand isnt adjustable but I cant be bothered to return it just for that. If your setup sees your monitor sitting anywhere more than five feet away from the computer youre going to have to buy a longer DP cable, the one provided is extremely short. As far as the monitor itself goes it does what it says it does. Gsync works great with nvidia cards, screen tearing i experienced on my old monitor is gone.

> 24 hourThe viewing angles for the monitor could be better for an IPS panel. The blacks change color to grey at angles over 30°

> 24 houri think you get what you pay for and i should have spent a bit more. This monitor while better then the 1080p benQ it replaced, this was not the game changing 144fps monitor i had hoped for. It lacks the visual range i had hoped for but had heard complained about in other reviews ( i should have listened to them) Its not horrid but this monitor could definable stand to have much deeper black tones and better over contrast and brightness abilities. but if mid tones is where your gaming sweet spot is this is the joint for you.
