LG Valve 5221ER1003A and 5220FR2075L

This piece appears to be almost identical to original water valve that decided to begin leaking. Arrived quickly and was exact fit. Only difference that I really noticed was the color of the plastic, but inside the machine who cares what color it is as long as works and doesnt leak!

Typical leak out of the top of my OEM valve after 8 years. These are a straight replacement, and of the same quality--may I say even a bit better--than the LG original. Relatively easy to install with just 2 common hand tools (Phillips screwdriver and pliers)--with many YouTube videos to help you plan and execute your repair. Good stuff!

Easy to install; 15 minutes with a screwdriver and pliers. Give it a quick test via the troubleshooting menu (soil+spin speed while powering on), and your all set. The problem in my case was minerals in the water that slowly clogged the valve- be sure you clear out the water feed hoses to make sure you dont quickly clog the new valve as well.

The description makes you think it is a LG OEM part but is not. The part received was the same as in the listing photos though. The part does fit and works so far.

Perfect one-to-one replacement for our washing machine. Not sure how long it will last, but its working perfectly and an inexpensive fix.

Received my new washer and the threads were defective on this piece. We couldnt get it replaced by HD because we did not pay for installation. The part was on backorder for weeks through LG and the price was astronomical through other sellers.

This is not an OEM product but it is the product in the picture. Cheaper design buts been installed for a week and it works. I could have got something cheaper but paid extra because it says it was OEM. It wasnt until I pulled the washer apart I realized this. If I was going to buy again I would have either gone with a cheaper $17 unit or spent the $54 for OEM.
