> 3 dayI have been repairing an older 1960s bike. It had a lot of damage and some rust. After I fixed those issues, I wanted to restore it back to its original color. Most of the paint had faded and become very dull. I was nervous about trying to find the correct shade of orange to match it. This paint was perfect for the areas that I couldnt use the spray paint. This is a perfect match for a 1960s/1970s orange color.

> 3 dayI love this color, and it has worked well for me in doing acrylic pours. The jar did come with the seal busted and leaking a bit of paint. Luckily it wasn’t horribly busting out of the seams, so the loss was minimal and not worth a return or anything. I did order 5 other colors of this size (not necessarily from the same sellers), and those were all fine. That was the only issue I had, which could have been caused by multiple things - from how it was packed, to how it was assembled/sealed in factory etc. I debated taking a star off for this issue, but decided that the rating is really about the paint. Just be aware that shipping something like paint could result on this kind of issue. The paint itself is a beautiful color and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a dark, rich purple for acrylic pours. The viscosity of Liquitex Basics is reasonably heavy bodied, though not as much so as some brands. It is technically not a professional line, so keep that in mind. I think it would do well enough in brush/palette knife painting, but that’s not really my speed, so I can’t say for sure.

> 3 dayWhile some things are sometimes crazy Marked up on Amazon, this was originally ~$9 and 2 months later, ~$18. Obsurd. It is still less than the original price at many other retailers. As far as the paint, as expected. Mid/light texture, coverage. Color is as expected. But save ur $$. Its available in many, many other place for much less.

> 3 dayI have been searching for the color called Egyptian blue, a unique and brilliant blue, not found among acrylics and only rarely among oil paints. This so called fluorescent blue is pretty much a true Egyptian blue, the rare blue used int eh pyramid paintings. Happy to find this shade! Liquitex are passably reliable paints, though most inexpensive acrylics do not mix as well as the few best brand ones. Liquitex to me is the best quality for the money.

Greater than one weekI have used this brand of acrylic paint for several years and it has always been flawless. Great paint, vibrant colors, goes on smoothly and the price is right.

> 3 dayAh, in the old days acrylic paint was substantial and very thick. Now, even the heavy body acrylics are so full of water and suspension that it takes a ton of practice to find out how much you need to mix colors with any accuracy. Semi-transparent. Sloshy. Soup-like is a slight exaggeration but not by much.
