> 3 dayOkay so, the paint itself is great, it’s black paint. Nice coverage, normal paint stuff. The CAP however is tightened by the damn gods! I had leftover paint I did not use at the end of my project and normally I’d just scoop it back into the tube so it’s not wasted. I TRIED to do this same thing only to have the cap NOT come off but the OTHER end to OPEN and squirt a HUGE glob of paint onto my shirt. Still haven’t gotten the cap off btw. Buy the paint, don’t try and take the cap off. Seriously.

> 3 dayFor some reason, Burnt Umber is a popular color this year because I had a hard time finding it in my favorite medium, which is chalk paint & Ive even bought acrylic burnt umber & made my own chalk paint, but I couldnt find it for MONTHS locally so when I completely ran out I remembered Amazon! Lol! And again, my options were limited. I have other colors in this brand that I picked up along the way or people gave me, but Ive never used it. So, I gave it a try bci really needed to finish a bunch of projects I had already started & hoped it all matched. It came in pretty quickly and when it did, I got to work! I wasnt so sure bc it is rather thick for someone used to working with acrylic paint, but that was a nice surprise bc I usually thicken it with plaster of paris or powder! I mostly use Burnt Umber to make Faux rust or a grungy, old, rusty, rustic look and this paint was perfect for that! I also like to use Burnt Umber for my Faux chocolate... Like the little Chocolate Pudding dessert cups as seen in the Pic. It makes a perfect chocolate color esp if youre mixing it with a solid white medium! And because its a nice solid color and thick paint, it doesnt water the whole project down! If you are NOT a painter and are more of a crafter that sticks to mainly acrylic or chalk paint, dont be afraid to venture out of you are having a hard time finding a certain color. This paint, although Im sure more used for paintings, it works great for crafting too. I highly recommend and will Def be buying this brand more often in the future.

> 3 dayNot a quality paint. Plus it came loose in the box and the paint exploded and was on everything else in the box. The lid is painted shut so the only way to use it was to break the lid.

> 3 dayWhere other paints will hold its shape on a vertical surface, this will drip down. And Im not saying thats a bad thing. The flow has its perks, especially if you want thin lines. And it mixes easier. Personally, I really like its viscosity compared to thicker paints. It will obviously not be as opaque though, if youre trying to paint over something.

01-06-2025Although the paint may be good the container was delivered damaged. The side was completely cracked and paint was everywhere.

> 3 dayAs shown. Liquitex Basics are consistently good quality paints. Not all brands make this color, was happy to find this here.

> 3 dayI use the tube acrylics for pour paint projects because they are thicker and go a long way, by the time you mix with pouring medium & water. It works really well for my smaller projects. Now if I decide to go to a grander scale (like Jackson Pollock) I’ll be visiting my local Home Depot. LOL
