> 3 dayI just recently discovered this and have found it invaluable. I use it as much as the opaque whites. Great for adding depth or subduing shapes.

> 3 dayLiquitex is my go to paint. This however is not what I call a true red, more of a raspberry color.

> 3 dayLiquitex Basics Acrylic Paints are my go to brand. Just my tips take it or leave them: I get more black and white acrylic paint and shades of brown green and blue. Orange and Yellows a little less, but always on hand. Red, will last you forever if you are mixing your own colors. So red less and red, although I suppose what you paint makes a difference. I paint portraits and landscapes. All skin colors are ratios of blue, red, and yellow. So learn how to mix colors. Get a fan brush, a palate, and spatula and set of decent brushes. Im not going to say which brand of brushes, because I have my favs from different makers -cheap to expensive. Anyway, you cant go wrong with Liquitex Basics Acrylic paints. The color and texture and drying time is consistent and predictable. Oh, and get a water bottle to keep your palate colors moist. I use the baby food plastic, square containers to keep my mixed colors that I use a lot of for a project. or you can cover your palate with a plastic wrap. Anyway, peace!

> 3 dayI love this color, and it has worked well for me in doing acrylic pours. The jar did come with the seal busted and leaking a bit of paint. Luckily it wasn’t horribly busting out of the seams, so the loss was minimal and not worth a return or anything. I did order 5 other colors of this size (not necessarily from the same sellers), and those were all fine. That was the only issue I had, which could have been caused by multiple things - from how it was packed, to how it was assembled/sealed in factory etc. I debated taking a star off for this issue, but decided that the rating is really about the paint. Just be aware that shipping something like paint could result on this kind of issue. The paint itself is a beautiful color and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a dark, rich purple for acrylic pours. The viscosity of Liquitex Basics is reasonably heavy bodied, though not as much so as some brands. It is technically not a professional line, so keep that in mind. I think it would do well enough in brush/palette knife painting, but that’s not really my speed, so I can’t say for sure.

> 3 dayTwo 4oz. Tubes of Hookers Green acrylic paint were shipped on a box with two heavy blocks of canvas board. Two air pillows were included to prevent shifting. They popped and the tubes were badly chrushed. You need to know that air pillows are Inadequate protection. I’m out couple of ounces of paint and a brand new manicure. You owe me.
