Great product to prepare surfaces for oil painting!

Great price, not going to have to buy any of this anytime soon, but if I do I marked this as my favorite.

This clear gesso goes on quite nicely. The result is a clear finish with an almost sandpaper tooth. I prefer the tooth of this gesso over regular white gesso. I also use a foam roller to apply the product so there are no brush strokes. Excellent gesso!

Have used for long time. Never fails my expectations. Hi quality product.

It keeps the paint from soaking in to the canvas

This Gesso leaves a very even finish and the color is a really nice deep shade of black. Just the right amount of texture to paint over and its never streaky.

Didn’t seem to make a whole lot of difference.

Im using this product to prime war gaming miniatures, so I cant speak authoritatively on its other uses.

Art teacher introduced me to clear much better then white for wood projects
