Logitech G MX518 Gaming Mouse Hero Sensor 16, 000 Dpi Arm Processor 8 Programmable Buttons (European Packaging) - Black

The G on the mouse started losing its shiny color after a week and now the paint has peeled off around the G logo after a month of use. I was hoping this would be a replacement for my G502 but it seems I might have to try something other than logitech for my next mouse.

This reminds me of the original and it helped resolve some lingering issues I had with my old mouse. Great purchase!

This has been a good corded mouse for me at my desktop.

It will not work with a KVM switch like to ones we bought years ago cheaper and seems to work good on a single direct connection but useless for someone using a KVM switch, Old ones worked fine this doesnt

I dont use it for games. Thats why I left the gaming star rating blank. I use it for AutoCAD and Creo parametric. The extra buttons come in handy. Also I find having to change out batteries more annoying than a chord. So this one is perfect for my needs. And it fits perfect in my hand. Never any fatigue or discomfort. Thanks!

Ive been using the mouse for couple of days and I notice the new Mx518 have some minor flaws compare to my current old G400. Build quality was consider a downgrade, thinner plastic and the weight feels lighter and not as balanced as well, making it more difficult to move the mouse smoothly. Ergonomics with the Mx518 not as comfortable as the G400 since the buttons is harder to click, my hand feels tired after using it for a while. Also I experience occasion stuttering with the mouse I think the sensor not tracking properly, and the new GHub software has less customization with no option to activate mouse acceleration. Its best to just buy another G400 or the G400s version if my current one has worn out.

They fit my hands perfectly, the perfect size at a perfect shape.

Bought this out of concern that my 10+ year old mx518 would soon go out. Ergo is ALMOST exactly the same. Functions well and gets the job done; gaming, designing, FBing, etc...

This is it... the last mouse you will ever need. Once youre done playing with the 200,000 DPI nonsense with RBG glowly lights, you can settle on this timeless classic. Its solid hardware, solid switches, comfortable in your hand, and does everything you need all in one package. Ive owned a few dozen mice and at one time even collected them, this is the one.
