A must have game for Mario fans. It blows the previous Switch Mario Party out of the water. The best part is playing with an actual controller. It makes the game much more enjoyable vs using joycons. I love this game. Highly recommend.

Product description is misleading, it neither says new or used. leads you to believe it is new. product comes shrink wrapped but not factory sealed, obviously used. never would have bought if i had known it was used, but wont go thru the hassle of returning.

Finally! After the last two disappointing releases - the old board game is back that my friends and I know and love. I havent tried online yet, but I am so excited to play with my sisters who live in other states. Last night I played with my wife and the mini games were fun, the first board we played was challenging. This brought many smiles and many LOLs last night when we played

Are you a Mario Party fan who has been let down by the series since 9, and felt Super Mario Party was a poor imitation? If so, this game is for you! The best way to describe Superstars is to think of it like a remixed greatest hits album. The game consists of five boards from the first three games, as well as 100 mini-games from all the games. One might hear this and think: why should I spend $60 on this when I can get Mario Party 2 for a fraction of that price? You would be right: but this game has full online multiplayer. Thats right, you can play Mario Party online with your friends. In addition, there are some nice quality-of-life improvements to the games: - Peachs Birthday Cake has the Bowser seed in a different location, and going to Bowser is actually a good shortcut to get to the star. - You can now fast-forward through the previously unskippable board cutscenes. - The items that the shops sell are now tailored to the board. There are a lot more warp blocks in Woody Woods, and more Chomp Whistles in Horror Land. - Some of the mini-games have been revamped. Dizzy Dancing now has several notes to collect, and Mushroom Mix-Up now has different patterns on the mushrooms, allowing color-blind players to play along much easier. - The game tells you how many spaces you are away from the star, and at junctions, will mark where you will land. - In the last five turns, the board music will change to a more frantic remix. Yet there are also some strange quirks in the game: - Some of the mini-games seem redundant. There are two count the enemies games, and two jump on enemies to ascend the highest games. - This one brings back the Lucky Spaces from Super Mario Party, where a roulette wheel gives you either coins, an item, or reduces the price of the star. Im not certain if I like this feature or not. There are so many of these spaces on the board that it seems to slow the gameplay down. It also makes winning mini-games not as necessary. - The AI in this game can be monumentally stupid, even at the highest difficulty level. Ive seen cases where they will miss shortcuts to the star, or use items for short-term gain instead of thinking ahead. - This game has achievements, and some of them involve being in the top 1000 on online records for certain mini-game feats. Knowing how competitive players are, some of these achievements are going to become downright impossible after a few months. Should you buy it? If you have never owned a Mario Party game before, and this sounds interesting to you, then definitely buy it. However, if you already own the N64 games, consider whether the online play and quality-of-life improvements make it all worthwhile. Perhaps wait until Black Friday for the price to go down.

I bought Mario Party Superstars for my kids for family fun. The game is a lot of fun, and I like that it includes previous minigames. The only thing that I have found annoying right now is the stickers they can use during the game, but thankfully, the stickers option can be disabled in the settings.

I love this game! My boyfriend and I spent most of the break playing this game. It has a game board theme where you play other players by rolling dice, earning coins, buying and stealing stars, and landing on good and bad spots. A really fun way to have some fun with your partner or friends!
