    This was a Christmas gift for my two kids. They love the game. The minigames are easily accessible and most are a lot of fun. Their favorite is Mt. Minigames where you get to practice the different games without playing the game boards. I’ve joined in playing these games which make for quick fun without engaging in the board games that take about 45 minutes. Only criticism is there is not a large variety of games boards (only 5) and there is not a lot of unlockable content. Highly recommended for Mario fans and kids under under age 10.

    This game is so much fun we can even play with my sister and brother in-law who lives 800 miles away we love it. Players: Kids ages 5y-12y and adults ages 22-33y.

    As someone who grew up with this franchise, I can say that after the game cube the Mario party games have been devolving instead of evolving. This newest addition feels barebones and adds nothing new to the table.     I have two kids, 7 and 3. They absolutely LOVE this game! And the nostalgia for me, a mom in my 30s who grew up playing Mario Party (at least the first 9), is unbeatable. I wish they had extra boards and maybe some different mini games and more characters, but those points are not worth knocking out stars for. The game is always fun. I especially like that we can play online with others!

    I’d say this is an overall improvement to the last installment, great maps, gameplay seems more balanced, can customize the game such as removing arbitrary stars after the game (you customize them also for example only having them added for specific things such as winning mini games) only flaw though is the character roster, seems lacking compared to the last. Overall a better game though.

    I love the GameCube Mario Party 7. I had to try this one. Not as fun because I am old and can’t figure out my kid’s switch.

    as you guys can read on other comments, this game is super fun, great to play with family.. however the content gets old after a few days of playing, I am assuming Nintendo will roll out other characters, boards and games (hopefully as free updates).. but in the meantime.. you will probably stop playing it after a week unless your wife and small kids force you too. hehe

    Cannot go wrong with first party Nintendo games and this new Party game is not any different. Great fun for even single players but much better for when playing with max players. Games can wrong a little long with all the small dialogue in the game but it is enjoyable when playing. Good for kids and adults.
