> 3 dayThis game as well as the super Mario party game are great! My ONLY complaint is that my family and I wish we had more boards to play! It’s such a tease!!!

Greater than one weekThis is fun game for the whole family to play together. I bought it as I have been a Mario fan for several years ever since the nintendo entertainment system came out back in the 80s.

> 3 dayA great, family-friendly game that I can play with my young son! The only downside is Nintendo does not discount their games much or often so grab one when you can.

Greater than one weekas you guys can read on other comments, this game is super fun, great to play with family.. however the content gets old after a few days of playing, I am assuming Nintendo will roll out other characters, boards and games (hopefully as free updates).. but in the meantime.. you will probably stop playing it after a week unless your wife and small kids force you too. hehe

> 3 dayNDCube finally listened to the fans and gave them exactly what they wanted. While the game is not perfect (too many lucky spaces, items are a bit too cheap, no unlockables) it is by far the best recent mario party and gives me hope that mario party’s future is bright.

Greater than one weekI purchased this game so I had a game to play with my five year old son. He and I absolutely love playing together. My wife and I will play with our neighbors too. Its a nice change of pace from Game Night board games.

> 3 dayAfter seeing some really great reviews, I got this for my Mario Party-obsessed son. The kid has had his entire family playing Super Mario Party daily for the last few months. So it came as quite a shock when this game landed without much fanfare from anyone in our household. It has a few things to hold over Super Mario Party, but not enough to justify the purchase (in my opinion). Lets compare what each game does better... MARIO PARTY SUPERSTARS: *Menus and games move faster *The single dice goes all the way to 10 (instead of 6) *No motion controlled mini-games (this is actually a con in my house) *More maps (by 1), and lots of classic mini-games *The Bonus Star settings are tweakable and optional SUPER MARIO PARTY: *Challenge mode *Team mode *Bonus mini games *River survival *A rhythm game mode *More characters and unlocks *Unique character dice, plus earnable friends on the gameboard *A sense of control regarding the outcome of dice rolls For my money, I appreciate Super Mario Partys strategic gameplay far more than this ones on-rails, RNG feel. I also wish Superstars offered even half the game modes that Super does. Super also has more characters, plus things to chase. Did I mention that the mini games in Super are mostly unique to the game mode youre playing? It keeps things feeling fresh. I really do appreciate that Superstars did such a good job with nostalgia, and letting you create games with your ideal ruleset. I just wish the devs didnt strip away all the stuff that made the other game so much fun. Superstars feels like playing Candyland, where Super Mario Party is closer to a Monopoly experience. If nothing else, both games feel very distinct from one another.
