> 24 hourA must have. Good strength magnets but not too much that a baby can’t pull them off or slide them around.

> 24 hourThese magnets are cute but but the pictures will peel right off with any trace of moisture. I know they arent a teething toy and I try to redirect, but weve only had these out for a few days and the corners of a lot of them are already peeled away. I wish they were more durable.

> 24 hourThese are great for toddlers to learn their animals and the sounds each one makes. It’s fun to see your toddler say what each animal is.

> 24 hourMy 2.5 year old son LOVES animals, so adding these magnets to our collection of play-to-learn toys was a no-brainer. As reported in other reviews, the images are printed laminate adhered to a wooden base w/ magnetic coating on the back - they have a nice, chunky thickness perfect for fine motor manipulation, and the illustrations are fairly life-like, which my son prefers. While the magnets are not strong enough to stick to each other, they adhere well to the magnetic surfaces in our home (the fridge, front, and closet doors) and have yet to fall off when said doors are slammed shut. The two nit-picky complaints I have are that the storage box doesnt have a permanent lid, and the image surface is easily dented (imprinted?) by fingernails or when banged against another hard surface. Neither impacts my rating b/c I feel the set is an absolute steal at $10 (however, if it cost more, I definitely would have deducted a star.) Other users have given these magnets bad reviews, stating that they fell apart when mouthed by their children, most of whom are reported as being MUCH younger than the recommended 3+ age group. Based on the construction I detailed above, I have NO doubt that such reports are accurate, so PLEASE - dont give these magnets to an infant or toddler who still mouths objects without maintaining close adult supervision. One last note: I saw a similar M&D magnet set sold in Target over the weekend. The Target set had 30 pieces (this set is 20,) more sea animals (this one only includes a goldfish,) had more-cartoonish looking illustrations, and seemed to be of similar construction but poorer quality (at least two magnets in each of the boxes I saw were torn or scratched.)

> 24 hourI bought these for my daycare. I had to take a few of them out since they were smaller then I thought they would be.

> 24 hourI bought these for my 14-month-old son. He loved to play with the magnets on the fridge, but there were several that were either too small, too delicate or not durable enough for him to play with. I got this box of animal magnets and stuck them to the bottom of the fridge. He happily plays with them while Im busy in the kitchen. So far, I have had no issues with the animals peeling off or anything, and they stick very well to the fridge. The front of our fridge is a little bit curved, and these magnets still stick very firmly. The magnets stick out from the fridge enough so my son can easily grab onto them, too, which isnt the case for some of our other magnets. My only complaint is that some of the animals are kind of small, so I dont feel comfortable letting my son play with those while he still puts everything in his mouth. I kept these up higher on the fridge so he cant reach them. I think there are about 5 or 6 of them. But the majority of them are big enough.
