> 3 dayWe were very excited to get these magnets, because of their glowing reviews. And to be fair, our 1 y.o. was very preoccupied playing with them right from the start. However, only after about 5 minutes of playing (of course some chewing was involved, as with all babies) the animal stickers on the magnets start to scratch and peel off. I expected more durability from these magnets, taking in consideration that it’s a kids’ toy.

> 3 dayAs title says a few of the magnets were broken out the box.

> 3 dayWell packaged and magnets start off looking cute, but paper photos easily come off. Would have nice if they weren’t cardboard but placed directly on the magnet surface. We need to get a new set and only have had them a month or 2

Greater than one weekThese magnets are cute but but the pictures will peel right off with any trace of moisture. I know they arent a teething toy and I try to redirect, but weve only had these out for a few days and the corners of a lot of them are already peeled away. I wish they were more durable.

> 3 dayGreat magnets. Look like they will withstand the wear and tear of a two year old and last for years to come. My son loves playing with these! I had to move other magnets out of his reach because they were cheaply made and was afraid the actual magnet would fall off. These are fantastic and won’t face that issue. The whole back is a flat magnet the shape of the animal. So even if it did become detached somehow there is no danger. Only downfall is my son likes to knock them all down on the floor but it gives us opportunity to clean/pick them up together while making animal noises!

> 3 dayMy 16 month old loves playing with these on the fridge. That being said, kitchens have water and paper magnets don’t exactly hold up the best. I would buy again, but just know they will wear quickly.

> 3 dayI bought these magnets for my two older girls (who are now 6 and 5) about two years ago. They love them still! Once again Melissa and Doug have come up with a totally cute way to help kids learn about animals, and yet still be a very durable and safe toy. The prices are a little more than for the average toy, but you know that you are getting total quality, and to me thats worth it! The only problems we have ever had with these, is that my girls tended to accidentally lose them under the fridge sometimes. The magnetic backs are also very strong. Weve been able to hold up multiple school papers and such without any problems. I was sitting for a friend a week ago, and her 10 month old boy loved them! He wanted to put all of them in his mouth. But it was great because most of them are too big to be a choking hazard or concern, and he could pull them off of the fridge and put them back on by himself without any problem. And I also knew that the magnet part covered the entire wood piece. (which is wonderful when you are watching someone elses kid). I took away the little duck, and fish and turtle (just in case though as the size of those three kinda made his mom a little wary.) He loved them so much, that Ive already ordered a box for him for his 1st birthday! That way he can have his own set at his house too. Im also considering buying the dinosaur ones next!
