Melissa & Doug Jumbo Numbers Wooden Chunky Puzzle (20 pcs)

I have always loved the chunky puzzles by M&D and this one is great. My daughter learned to count with this puzzle and it was great to mix them up and ask her to say each number before she put it in the puzzle. She is 4 years old now and a little old for this but my friends younger children love coming over and playing with it. I love how the pieces are large and easy for toddlers to grab.

Got this to help teach my little one 11-20. I like that the numbers are printed on the puzzle board underneath all the pieces to help her figure out where each of the numbers goes. They are large size pieces.

So I bought two of these puzzles for my niece and nephews second birthdays. Ive given it to my nephew already and he loves it! He already had a very similar ABC puzzle (not the same brand) and he was saying the alphabet constantly and loved the puzzle. When we gave him this number puzzle and started counting with him, he was hooked within a week. We heard him saying the 123s all the time. It seems very durable-being solid wood and all. The colors and patterns are very very cute, but thats my personal preference. One thing is that the numbers go up to 20. I think for a two year old that might be too much and its probably better to start off with a 1-10 puzzle. But I dont foresee that as a big issue. If his parents focus on teaching him 1-10 then later moving on to the other digits then it should work just fine. Overall, I loved the puzzle, my sister-in-law loved it, and my two year old nephew seemed to really enjoy it!

My 2 year old loves putting this puzzle together, and stacking the numbers up into towers! The pieces are as sturdy as little blocks, are brightly colored, and just the right size for little hands. This is a very nice quality puzzle, for a good price. Overall it is an excellent value! This is one of 4 chunky puzzles he owns, with several more to show up under the Christmas tree this year!

This puzzle is amazing! Bright colors, great graphics, and very sturdy without being too heavy. I bought it for my not yet two year old who seems to prefer puzzles to blocks because I wanted to start familiarizing her with letters. On the positive side for someone wanting their moneys worth, this puzzle has tons of pieces, for someone with a younger child like mine in can be a con since pieces often go missing, so Ive decided to put it away until she is a little older. Like all Melissa and Doug chunky puzzles its a hit because of the fact youth dont need to hold little pegs to place the pieces.

Although it is rather spendy for one puzzle, this has helped my 2 year old to quickly grasp his alphabet, along with several little books. The pieces fit very well in their holes and the set is very high quality. Other puzzles dont make the satisfying sound/feel for my son to indicate that theyve been inserted correctly (cheap cardboard for example).

Item is as described. Very colorful. My son loved it when it when I took him to be library so I purchase it for him and he learns great with it. The pieces are thick enough that he stands it up on a table. He found a creative way to decorate his Christmas tree with the letter.

I got this for my 3 year old boy and he loves it! He could count to ten but would get confused on his numbers 11-20. This puzzle has helped his counting.

The size is great for little hands.
