> 3 dayWe bought this and the Jumbo Numbers Wooden Chunky Puzzle and they were a hit with my daughter. She is now 4 and doesnt play with it much but my friends younger children love coming over and playing with it. The letters are big and easy to grab. I liked to mix them up and ask her to name the letter and then find where it went in the puzzle. She loved naming the animal on the puzzle. It taught her animals and letters. She still mentiones the animals on this puzzle when she says a certain letter (A is for alligator, just like on my puzzle!). The colors and quality is great too.

Greater than one weekI wanted something to help my daughter who is 19 months with her letters and this is perfect. She can easily match the letters, they are a good size since she still puts things in her mouth and cant choke. Each letter has two pictures that start with that letter which has been helpful when she is looking where to put the letter I can help by identifying the picture. You can also use them to spell out words (makes me want another set of just letters). Very versatile and great quality.

> 3 dayI saw this in my toddlers preschool and decided to get one for the house as well. My two year old has learned all the numbers from this. She does it over and over again.

Greater than one weekI have purchased this letter puzzle as well as the same Wooden Chunky style number puzzle for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. Thanks to these puzzles, which she asks me to play with nightly, she can already count to 20 and can name at least 60% of the letters in the alphabet. Thank you to Melissa and Doug for quality craftsmanship and sturdy design.

> 3 dayI like Melissa and Doug products, but I’m kinda disappointed with the two wooden puzzles I purchased. They both care slightly curved instead of flat. Doesn’t make much difference on a carpet so I kept them... now after not much use the edges of the background on the alphabet puzzle are starting lift, it’s only a matter of time before my toddler notices and starts picking at them ... I paid the extra money for these wooden puzzles because I thought they where better quality... so shouldn’t they last at least a couple years?

> 3 dayI picked this up for a little boy I nannied. He just turned 2, but he’s super smart. He already counts to 20, so I got him this since his 10 piece puzzles were starting to be a bit boring for him. He is slowly grasping where the numbers go and it’s a great challenge. Pieces are VERY sturdy and I love the smooth edges to the pieces! Cute colorful puzzle and a great gift. Would buy again.

> 3 dayFun Learning with this puzzle. We bought it as a gift. Our granddaughter has one too. Weve played a game of find the letter, a relay race to find a letter and put it in place, scavenger hunt for the letters. Guiding their activity makes it a fun time while they are learning the alphabet.

Greater than one weekThis is a really durable, quality puzzle board which is well done and will survive several hand downs! However it is a heavy item for a toddler to lift for example and the large size makes mailing as a gift a challenge. All in all though a really great item!
