I bought this item for my 18 month old son! He can’t get enough... although at this point he just likes to pop the shapes into the top compartment; you can just see the wheels turning when i help him find the shape + color match :) My 2.5 year old daughter also LOVES this and thru are always fighting over it. Well made and VERY cool!

My kids are 1 and 3 and they love to play with this shape sorter. There are a lot of talking points and learning opportunities with this toy and I love that its something they can grow with!

Very nicely done Melissa and Doug! Makes a great gift, very colorful and not too big or small as a gift. Nice that you can keep the kid from just opening it to put the shapes in, a bit difficult to open - making the cap another shape hole throws them off, but making it a screw cap would keep it even more effectively closed.

We love this toy. There are many similar ones but I chose this because it’s wooden and Melissa & Doug make wonderful products. The shapes are cut out well and fit in the slots perfectly. My daughter can sit with this for a long time taking out the blocks in and out, stacking them, etc.

Its a good shape sorter. But it needs to be slightly bigger. If you lose the top you wont be able to sort the moon shape. When trying to put all shapes in you have to shake it around to make room. Annoys my two year old. You also have to shake the crap out of it to get the shapes out. Again if the sorter itself were slightly bigger, itd be perfect.

My nephew enjoyed playing with this toy. It is well made and he can practice colors and shapes.

I thought the puzzle pieces were too small. My grand son is 10 months and the pieces are too small for him as EVERYTHING goes in his mouth.

This is smaller than expected, and the pieces are a little on the hard side to put in. My son got easily frustrated with it. He has a cube with bigger pieces he prefers. I think it is better for older kids than you do babies/toddlers
