I have both the Micro-Air products EasyStart and EasyTouch. Both units work, until they dont. And when they dont, get ready for tech support styled in 1998. They have a phone number they love to taut for support but it only takes you weldless recordings that all inevitably suggest you visit their website, make a cloak via email. And then use email for your support. So when your AC is out and its scorching inside, enjoy waiting for some stranger to get around to checking the email. Ive been trying to get an issue resolved for three days now. Micro-Air, what up with terrible tech support? Ill be sure to tell everyone about this at all of the Rallies and shows we attend. Do better.

Installation is different for each manufacturer but the available instructions are thorough. The wago clips are nice but do watch out when you push the cover back on the starter (I had one come unclipped). I did use tech support via the app and email and they were prompt with responding. Dropped my start Amps from 33 to a little over 16. The test start process does take time but once it’s done, you’re done. Set it and forget it.

Love that we can now use our RV AC with a truly portable generator. Awesome!

I followed the online instructions and used the install kit. There was a little discrepancy between the install instructions and the kit provided but because the kit came with wagos, I knew I was good to just use those instead of crimp-ons. 4 wires, took me about a half hour plus time to take off and reinstall the cover. With the bluetooth on Android you just need to be sure you give it location permission because thats tied into Androids ability to discover devices. Once I got that in it all worked every time. I was able to run my 15k AC off of a 2500W Champion generator with no issues.

Micro-air soft start practically worthless if you can’t find legitimate instructions or diagrams. Good luck!

Bought it so we are able to run the air conditioner with the generator when we are camping. Works great on our 2000 generator.

Can now run a 13500 BTU air conditioner unit off my Honda 2000w Generator. Wouldnt work at all before installing this.

Im currently running my Dometic Duo Therm Brisk II Air 13500 BTU roof mounted air conditioner off a Yamaha EF2000iSv2 Inverter generator thanks to this (you have to have the v2 version of the generator, the EF2000iS isnt powerful enough). My camper is nice and chilly despite the high temps outside. I had my doubts until the unit was installed and functioning, but it really does work! Dont be afraid of the install, it was a complete breeze thanks to the YouTube video made by Hutch Mountain. Be sure to watch their video, some of the other vids had missing steps and the people just talked too darn much at the beginning, get to the point, amirite? Anyway, the people at HM are great, friendly and helpful if you ever have the need to speak with them. Top notch, cant recommend enough. As Im sure others have said, buy the install kit, its totally worth it Looking forward to some off-grid camping and being spoiled by A/C.
