Works exactly as advertised and Hutch Mountain support is the best I’ve ever experienced. Sent them pix of my air conditioner from the roof and they called me back and walked me through the whole install. 20 minutes and working. We dropped to a 14.5 amp start surge, near 40 before. Love this product. We can choose 30 amp service and run both AIr Conditioners. Start the high current one first and then start the Micro Air unit.

Bought it so we are able to run the air conditioner with the generator when we are camping. Works great on our 2000 generator.

I haven’t had a chance to test the EasyStart with a smaller generator yet, but it was fairly easy to hook up, and the HVAC seemed quieter afterwards.

Amazing Product!! If you’re thinking about them don’t. Just do it. I have order 3 of these for 3 different A/C units and they work just as everyone rants and raves. These are a must for every RV. I can run both 13,500 BTU units on a 30 amp service.

You do need to climb on the roof of your RV and do some simple wiring, but a handy person should have no trouble...

The Hutch Mountain Install Kit and the install video from their website made this a very easy installation. I installed this on an Airstream Bambi 2022. The hardest part was getting the Microair unit mounted inside the electronics box. The bracket around the remaining capacitor was tricky to bend and screw into the metal housing. The Install kit that comes with this had everything i needed for a painless installation. Not including watching the video beforehand, the total install time for me was about 1 hour. I highly recommend this product.

Have installed these on the last three RV air conditioners I have owned. Will do it again on the next one. Not only drastically reduces starting amps, but edges the running amps down just a bit as well.
