Well, I bought my generator before I got this and read about using a Honda Gen for best results. Mine has the Watts but not the engine cc that the Honda has. Saying that it is still less expensive to buy a second gen for 30A service than one Honda. Install was easy thanks to hutch Mountains install kit and YouTube videos. I look forward to using it with the second Gen.

Bought two and installed per instructions. This blue tooth function amazing watching power draw go down each cycle. Will run ac while boondocking Off my solar during day , EU 2000 at other times. Worth every penny.

Was amazing to not even hear the AC on my camper start up! It used to wake us up at night when the compressor kicked on.

This device worked slick. Super easy to install. It works great and my travel trailer AC now works on my 2000 watt generator.

The Honda 2000 reliably powers this air conditioner in eco mode. When we started it up the first time, it failed to start and displayed a fault led. The generator had been connected to the boat with a 30ft long extension cord. The cord was replaced with a 10ft 10ga heavy duty cord and it now works perfectly.

This works great and love the BlueTooth. The Install kit was perfect as well.

Super easy to install. Came with waygo connectors which are awesome and secure. Found a YouTube video on my ac model took 30 min. Hutch mountain has the worst customer service don’t reply on them for any technical support.
