Excellent all metal replacement for MK10 hotend on several models. I used it for a Wanhao Duplicator I3 v2.1 and have had no issues with them. They work really well with PLA, PETG, ABS, and wood so far for me. No worries of melting PTFE liners or whatnot. Following the instructions is key to success, however they are pretty simple/ My only gripe, which is not a problem with Micro Swiss is that nozzles are a bit pricey(but really nice), and I would like a cheaper alternative/source for replacements. I like to have several nozzles around, but at $15/piece for the basic one, this is a bit impractical.

Well made but this hot end clogs easily and has been a huge pain. I tried everything from PID tuning, retraction changes. The prints were good when i got it flowing but wouldnt last. Not recommended. I have swapped out to a e3d v6 hot end with no further issues.

Worth every penny. Im printing PLA on the Maker Select Plus. Install this and calibrate your e-steps for beautiful prints.

I found an improvement in my prints on my Duplicator I3 V2 following installation of this hotend, but what is compelling me to write here was the outstanding customer support I received from Micro Swiss. I contacted them to verify the hotend shoulder clearance above the heat block and I heard back from them with not just a boilerplate, but quality feedback, pictures, and design diagrams. They even followed up afterwards to see how Id made out. Really outstanding and refreshing in todays world where vendors toss products over the wall to consumers and turn away. Great work Micro Swiss. For anyone using this hotend, do listen to their advice about reducing your retraction settings. Im running .6 on my duplicator - if I run too much (~1.2?) the filament is liable to stick in the throat of the cooling tube and Ill need to disassemble in order to get it out. Once I figured this out Ive been able to run more quickly and cleanly than I did on the OEM hotend (specifically 3200/min using PETG). Good luck.

Installation was fairly simple. To get the 1.7mm measurement accurate I simply cut a small flat piece of plastic that I positioned next to the hot tube. Big difference in operating with higher temps. Stringing and blobs are present but havent affected overall good quality of PETG prints. Benchy printed well with some bridging problems inside roof not affecting Quality of finished surface. Overall good quality machined parts, good value for money.

its been bit tricky to install. Remember to reduce retraction settings

Made a huge difference on my i3 clone. I did have to up the temp a bit but it was nice to not have to deal with the plastic tube anymore.

I have a Monoprice Maker Select 3D Printer v2 and it would stop extruding half way through the print. I tried new PLA and changed around setting and temperatures but nothing worked. Went on a forum and someone said this worked for them. Well let me tell you...they were 100% correct. This was easy to install (if you closely follow the online directions) and my prints seem to be coming out even better now. Totally recommend this to anyone having this problem, or if you justwant to upgrade your printer for not a lot of $

I purchased this to install on my Monoprice Maker Select Plus (Wanhao Duplicator i3) about two months ago. At the time, this was necessary because I feared I might damage the PTFE tube in the original hotend while printing PETG at around 240° C. It was a simple enough operation replacing the hotend, and although print quality didnt change much, reliability absolutely did. It also seems to heat faster, allowing me to print at faster speeds, and hopefully in the somewhat near future, with a significantly wider nozzle. Fingers crossed on that one. If you want a hotend that works out of the box, rarely if ever jams, and needs very little attention for quite some time, this is definitely a wise upgrade.

The slotted cooling block I received with this upgrade kit was unusable. The holes for mounting the heatsink and fan are in the wrong location. ( see attached picture) . I found this out after taking my hot end apart and starting the upgrade.
