Micro Swiss All Metal Hotend with Slotted Cooling Block for Wanhao i3 w/.4mm Nozzle

My only regret is not buying this sooner. Printing 2-3x faster and with fewer issues. You will have to make some adjustments in your slicer - totally worth it in my book.

I went through several different nozzles and hot ends trying to get my printer healthy again. This hot end fixed all of my problems. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ON MICRO SWISSS WEBSITE. Installation took 10 minutes and my printer is back up and running like a champ!

Definitely a must have upgrade for the Wanhao i3 and its clones. Worth every penny.

Perfect this part turned my really good budget printer into an awesome budget printer. The workmanship on the part is top-notch and the installation kit/instructions worked perfectly. Highly recommend adding this upgrade to any Wanhao i3 or the clones out there.

Awesome upgrade, worth to get early on, or just wait so you can tell the difference. You will have to play around some when installing as it doesnt fit PERFECT on a Maker Select V2, itll fit as you can kind of force it a bit, but it wont be perfect. If you have the all round extruder fan mod, prepare to say goodbye to it after installing this, cuz it doesnt fit.

I gave this item a 5 star for overall quality and for ease of installation and 3 stars for value for the money. I couldn’t get it to work right to save my life. I watched just about every YouTube video on how to install it and use it, etc. but personally have had no luck. I finally gave up and returned it for a refund. I was really hoping to get away from my hot end which uses the plastic tube as a heat break. Oh well, maybe you will have better luck with it than I did.

Been using this for over a year and its great. I initially bought just the hotend and not the cooler and experienced some major issues. I was able to get in contact with someone at Micro Swiss and they were really really helpful. They rushed me the cooling block and its been gravy since then. It may be expensive, but its definitely worth it, and customer support is great as well.

I had to replace my hotend after melting my last one that came with my monoprice select clone, and this thing is great. Have had no hotend clogs since upgrading and would definately recommend making this upgrade if you can.

Looking at the infill during print with this hot end, I can see a finer structure than with my stock hot end. I followed the instructions about reducing retraction in my Cura profile and have had no problems with clogging.
