Micro Swiss All Metal Hotend with Slotted Cooling Block for Wanhao i3 w/.4mm Nozzle

> 3 dayI had a major clog, and reached out to support. Fairly certain the issue was that I didnt tighten the nozzle after heating to 250 as the directions stated, so possibly my fault. Support was very helpful in tips /advice, and in the end quickly replaced the nozzle since I found it too difficult to cleanup (plastic on the threads). a+ for support. (btw - much less stringing with this nozzle then I was getting with the default nozzle)

> 3 dayObvious tool marks and plastic on the nozzle. Tube is full of some sort of cooled filament. I put the nozzle under my microscope and it shows heavy wear, gashes and pitting. This hotend has had quite a bit of use. If you are going to sell used stuff please advertise it as used. Will be returning.

> 3 dayWorks great, just follow the instructions word for word and then do a test print. Your first few prints may not end well because you have to have your retraction in the right range.

> 3 dayJust installed the All Metal Hotend with Slotted Cooling Block on my Monoprice Maker Select v2.1 last night. Installation was a breeze after watching the YouTube video and having the instructions from this site on hand during my installation. Just watch out for the spacers falling out and getting lost when removing the long screws that hold the extruder drive and fan in place. First print after the installation came out better than any so far. Im excited that I can now use some of the more exotic filaments without worrying about damage such as the glow int he dark filament that my wife bought for me when she got the printer, PetG, wood filament, etc.

> 3 dayVery nice upgrade to my Monoprice Maker Select V2. Will probably buy another for my Plus. Print quality improved and prints PETG well.

> 3 dayTook a while to dial this thing in. Still have some issues doing flexible filament but overall great end which is much more durable than the stock design. Not sure if I would buy this over as it limits my printers ability to print flex/TPU consistently but does allow me to print nylon and tougher materials with no worries

> 3 dayAble to print at higher temps easily and can clean with acetone

Greater than one weekThis took me some time to dial in my settings to account for the change from the stock hot end, but once I adjusted retraction and temp, this hot end is completely worth it. I havent had a jam since.
