> 3 dayThis thing is a godsend. If you have a 3D printer and want quality prints, this is an absolute must have. No excuses. This works so much better than stock.

> 3 dayIm really happy with this upgrade - the stock heating block doesnt seem to hold a steady temp well, and this block preheats in about half the time, meaning Im ready to start printing far sooner. The fact that it has replaceable nozzles is icing on the cake.

17-11-2024The Micro Swiss All Metal Hotend is amazing. I installed it yesterday on my Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus and the prints I have been getting out of it are so much better than the ones from the standard MK10 nozzle. Really looking forward to putting some more exotic filaments through it. I cant recommend it enough. Get one, you wont be disappointed. Thank you Micro Swiss.

> 3 dayTechnically this was the wrong kit for my dreamer NX but everything minus the cooling block worked fine. If you have a dreamer nx get this instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C3HEQZC/?coliid=IIRBH4GGJLNWZ&colid=2DZL1KU0GVJZI&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it But as others have said, follow the instructions to the letter and make the adjustments as needed. Im getting good prints with 0 issues.

> 3 dayWorks great. Make sure you follow the directions to the letter. Also have to print a little hotter than you did before and reduce retraction. Most people complaining of clogs miss these two tips.

> 3 dayBuy this kit. But the hotend WITH the slotted block if you have a maker select v2 and want to upgrade it. Dont slack and buy just the hotend without the block, it ends up being a mess with having to use thermal paste and all to fit in the original block. This makes it so much easier and it all works perfectly together. Very easy to install, just be SUPER careful with the heater core and thermistor wires when you are messing with the hot end, they are brittle and can break without really taking care of them. Since installing this, I have had no clogs and it has been perfect. I did have some issues at the beginning trying to overheat the filament and then again when I plugged in the wrong fans so my extruder was getting super hot and melting everything before it could print. So watch out for human error. Machine error though, no problems. I recommend this as one of the must-have mods of this 3d printer. That along with z-brace mod, the power board issue mod, and a glass bed covered in pei film and I am good to go!

Greater than one weekI will say that I trust the quality of the company, but I just had a bad experience with the product. First, the steel heat break is rounded with two flat sides that can fit a small wrench. The problem is that its very easy to strip the sides and make the throat near-impossible to remove without using something with teeth- which would cause more damage. This could be fixed better if the break was shaped like a full bolt. Second, the slotted cold block is a great idea, except that the way its made makes it impossible to adjust the orientation of the heater block. In order to install it on a Wanhao-style machine (MS v2.1), you have to install the throat first, and tighten it since you cant get to that bolt once its in the carriage. Then, install it onto the carriage, since you cant get to those bolts when the heater block is there. Then properly install the heater block with the nozzle. The last part makes it incredibly difficult to both properly tighten the nozzle and have the heater block oriented the right way for the heater and thermistor. Because of that, my nozzle started to leak PETG, which basically glued the nozzle and heat break together in the heater block, so I ended up losing nearly my whole hotend. These guys are pretty expensive to just lose.
